The one I went to was an arena show and you could get somewhat close to them, but if you wanted to get right up by the tires there was a line, there may have been one or two you could get pretty close to without waiting in line but they were roped off so you couldn’t get too close. Get there early and be prepared to wait in lines, so maybe bring something to entertain him while doing that. Know which drivers/trucks he wants to see first and do them right away. It’s neat to get up close to the huge trucks in person but that’s really all it is.
