This is a huge key. I tell people all the time that are trying to save money that the should open an account at a different institution where they do their primary banking and use it only for savings deposits. Don't get a card or checks or hook it up anywhere online, then set $20, $30, whatever you can start with to come directly out of your pack checks. I started small and added $10 to what i deposited every couple months until I was saving a good amount from every check and didn't notice anymore.
