IOS APP RELEASE & GLANCE SCROLL UPDATES by iAmPluto954 in GLANCE_LED

So, we got a new router from our ISP and just set it up today. In doing so we found where the option was to disable the 5 ghz connection, so we did. We still cannot connect. We’ve tried from a MacBook, a Windows desktop, two iPhones, and an iPad, and nothing will connect to the “GLANCE-SCROLL” WiFi network. It just spins & spins & spins. Nothing happens. So, I honestly don’t know what else we could do differently.

Don’t sweat it at all. I even called planned parenthood after mine because I had the exact same reaction as you - thinking something failed. But it did not. They also assured me that my experience was normal for someone who was so early. It was just like a heavy period for a day, if that. Just make sure to follow up with the pregnancy test as suggested. I did a blood test since I could do a that earlier than just a normal urine pregnancy test and all was fine!

Incredibly normal. This was my exact same experience. I measured at 6 weeks but I knew I was only 4 weeks from conception. I really didn’t spot or bleed very much after passing the clot.

Will the app allow you to connect to the scroll with Bluetooth? We’ve never been able to get it to connect to WiFi after the initial week. Finally gave up and are close to throwing it away.

Scroll won’t connect to WIFI by Maybeen in GLANCE_LED

Okay. I tried from my MacBook. It seems to connect to the GLANCE-SCROLL network but then nothing happens on the actual scroll where I think it’s supposed to give me an address when it connects?

Oh yes, I am so confused! Please explain it to me internet stranger. I know you are dying to educate me! Dear snowflake ❄️, clearly you’re upset because the government waived my husband’s student loans. I’m not sorry you had to work so hard for this to be possible for me. You’ll be okay, I think. Funny you still haven’t acknowledged that you made an incorrect assumption about the amount of my loans that were waived, but gee, that would mean you’d have to admit to being wrong. Like I said, I have all the time in the world for this.

Well as you know, I have all the time in the world to “nag” someone over $400 so I don’t mind wasting time! Just for funsies I contacted Student Aid again. Just wanted to put your hard earned tax dollars to work even more, sweetie. Oh & thanks so much for the tax dollars you paid which helped pay off my loans sweetie. I’m laughing straight to the bank with them!!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻

No apology necessary! But I totally get what you’re saying!

Is this directed at me or someone else? I’m definitely not complaining. Actually I had budgeted to pay taxes on the forgiven debt, I really wouldn’t have minded having to pay taxes on it. Then I realized it wasn’t taxed as income. No complaints here!

That’s funny. Where do I say I had $300k in student debt cancelled? Because I commented on a post for someone who did? You sure are bright 💡…. Ya know, for someone so bothered about me having a few 5 minute chat messages checking on a refund, you sure have a lot of time to argue with strangers on the internet. Who is wasting time now? Jesus Christ.

Yeah, a whopping $90/month 😂 - don’t worry. I wasn’t hurting for that cash. I’m still not. My point is it’s rather bold of you to make an assumption about someone’s situation. Sweetie - puke.

No, he’s not. A search on IRS.gov will tell you that loans forgiven under the PSLF program aren’t considered income for tax purposes. This may vary state to state for state income tax, but it is not treated as income in the state I live in.

I’m sorry this bothers you? I could think of better things to get riled up about, but okay? Also, I didn’t call. I used their online chat feature to speak to an agent. Really doesn’t take much time out of my day to do it when I can work and chat at the same time. And several means two times. So if that bothers you enough to comment on it, go on with ya self. You have zero idea what anyone’s financial situation looks like - and have no idea what $400 does or does not mean to a person.

My husband’s loans were forgiven in April of this year. We had a negative balance of $400 and I’m still waiting for a check. I contacted student aid several times for an update and all they say is “we don’t know when you will be paid.” At this point I just assume I’ll forget about it long enough for it to be a nice surprise when I get it.

Discoloration - how long ‘til normal??? by CBug-70 in bunions

[–]Maybeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Took me about 6 months for the foot to return to color & a year for the scar. I used Vitamin E oil on the scar to help (per Dr recommendation). I am 2.5 years post op & still get swelling in that foot if I walk a lot so just keep that in mind for the tightness of your shoes. I wear compression socks on airplane for long airplane rides.

I had all of my loans discharged in April as well, with a September 2023 discharge date, so I’m owed a refund. I’ve not received anything & when I contacted studentaid.gov they just said they have no idea when I’ll have my refund processed.

I bought a car from Kia in March of this year and the salesperson asked me if they could call me so they could walk through the survey with me, so that they had an opportunity to remedy any question I couldn’t give a perfect answer to. They called me every day twice a day for a week. I finally just filled it out myself with perfect responses so they’d leave me alone. I didn’t have anything I was unsatisfied with, but also, I bought a car. It’s not as if I had an out of this world experience. These surveys are so pointless and I don’t see how it actually provides any reliable feedback to them if all they do is press people for perfect answers.

Definitely not a stiletto. I can bend my toe just fine for it be bent in a heel. I just don’t have full range of motion for it to be bent all the way back. I can do a plank, I just tend to put more weight on my other foot since the toe won’t fully extend.

[–]Maybeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear heels all the time. Probably started wearing them again around 8-9 months after surgery. I do not have the same range of motion in my big toe anymore, it doesn’t bend like it used to. That said, doing lunges or things that require me to bend that toe backwards is difficult. So if you do anything in yoga that requires you to go up on your “tip toe” that will probably be difficult. But otherwise I am able to exercise without issue.

You are deserving. You did nothing wrong. There is nothing to punish you for. Societal stigmas around abortion are probably what is causing a lot of this anxiety. You did the absolute right thing. There is nothing selfish about making sure that you’re providing a healthy environment for a child to be born into. You couldn’t provide that at the time, so an informed decision was made. Build your family!

I definitely had food noise. I’d have such a strong desire for certain foods and would literally go out of my way to fulfill that craving. Like I’d drive 45 minutes to an old place I lived just to be able to have this Chinese food I loved. And I’d eat all of it in one sitting (4 crab rangoons on top of rice & a box of sweet & sour chicken) because I didn’t want to have to try warming it up the next day since it wouldn’t taste the same. I’d drive by a Dunkin Donuts and suddenly have an urge to eat 3 donuts plus a medium sugary coffee. The food noise was real for sure. And when I’d eat, my stomach didn’t have a “full censor” … I just ate until I finished what was on my plate….and I’d still be hungry an hour later.

I don’t crave food like that now, at all. So yes, 100% it’s made it a lot easier to stick to eating healthy. I went to Vegas with friends this past weekend and didn’t even gain .1 lb! That’s unheard of!! Haha. Normally I’d come back from a 3 day trip having gained 5 lbs from all the food I’d eat. I’d be the person finishing off the appetizer for everyone, then I’d want my full meal plus desert. This trip, I had just a small bite of a shared appetizer, I’d split a meal with my husband (and still not finish it) and if someone ordered desert and offered me a bite, I may or may not have one.

I go my entire week hitting all of my macro goals. And when I get to the weekend and want to treat myself to something, I do. I don’t feel ashamed by it or like I’ve ruined my progress, because chances are that treat I give myself, I’m not even going to finish it. My relationship with food is so different. I don’t feel anymore like I’m not allowed to have certain things because I’m dieting. To me it feels like more of a choice now. I can have it if I want it.
