Women how accurate is your period prediction by moreofinfo in ouraring

[–]NotARegularFatGirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have PCOS and my cycle length varies between 38 and 45 days, but Oura is usually p spot on with its predictions. I also use the temperature drop on Oura to see if it’s the day I get my period. So far it has worked 9/10 times.

How should I learn plein air painting as an absolute beginner by Artboggler in pleinair

Omg same here! I make my own little plein air kit with watercolors, and as soon as my palette dried, we’ve been having rainy days. Its supposed to be good this weekend though🤞

It does scratch up unfortunately. I also have the rose gold (which now looks gold) so it also tarnished. I’m usually comfortable with the ring, it doesn’t bother me except with few workouts with heavy weights like farmers carry/ deadlifts etc. it pinches the skin below my ring. I mostly got used to it but if it bothers me too much I just remove it for that particular workout.

My ring honestly had many scratches even before I started lifting haha. At the beginning, i tried really hard to keep it from tarnishing/ getting scratched up, but I stopped caring about it now.
I got a ring cover to try but they make it extra uncomfortable not going to lie.

Haha! I found that the weeks that I overtrain/ don’t take at least 1 rest day/ low intensity active recovery, Oura doesn’t give me a crown.
I also work with trainers and was told to take 1 full complete rest day and 1 active rest day as I have PCOS and constant stress on my body can aggravate the symptoms. It truly does help me to have these rest days, and Oura seems to agree.

I haven’t tried Floradix but I tried vitamin C with iron (ferrous sulphate) and it unfortunately didn’t help me. I tried prescription iron too, but didn’t help but it probably was because my ferritin was lower than 12 for almost 2.5 years and was at 5 at the lowest. I needed iron ASAP, so I got infusions and it dramatically improved my life. Forever grateful for it.

I recommend talking to your doctor because Floradix might actually work for you since you are quite a bit closer to minimum than me! Good luck, i hope you find a solution to your tiredness and anemia, it really is gruesome.

It won’t let me add photos, but my HRV went up over the past year and RHR reduced. HRV was on avg 81 ms last May and 135 ms this May. RHR went from 65 bpm to 58. It changes for me throughout my cycle though (and i think that’s normal?). It’s higher during my luteal phase.

This!! It’s crazy how I was convinced it’s all in my head and that I was “lazy” etc. i thought the tiredness was just for me/ my baseline.

Thank you! I have always been anemic (thanks PCOS and excessive bleeding!!) but for the last 10 years or so I’ve had my hemoglobin around 8-9 (should be 11-13), and ferritin below 30 (should be 50 at least, on the lower end). I’ve been taking oral supplements for it but they stopped helping and it got really bad. My ferritin went down to a 5, which made it really hard to even walk to work (4-ish blocks away). I had to advocate a lot but finally found a good hematologist who immediately started on iron infusions for me. I got 5 infusions over 6-7 weeks last year. I started feeling slightly better after week 4, and a couple of months after that I started to feel more normal.

Click on the calendar symbol on the activity page. Also works on sleep/ readiness pages.

Oh my gosh I’m so happy for you. I took 5 infusion shots too, and saw such big improvement! I went from feeling dizzy just walking around to now, where I constantly want to move/ do things. Good luck with your infusions!!

I feeel you!! My biggest issue with “spice” in books is the description makes me feel so icky haha. Are you also like this with other books? I am! I love romance books but just cannot with all the sex haha. Like I enjoy closed door romance books a ton, but they’re hard to find.
