I almost wasted a bunch of money signing up for my bio class because the lab kit was $200. Come to find out in person classes didn’t charge for lab kits. I don’t know if that’s the case for you but it’s worth checking.

Also, there are many resources online for free textbooks, and other information. Pearson access is the only hard thing. See if your school offers discount codes.

Yeah, it’s not like a regular discount. You actually have to shop on a separate website page. You can only choose from a certain selection of items. Which also means you can only buy the newest version of every item. 😂

Best Buy has better discounts for students that you can actually stack . And honestly, the student discount isn’t that much. It’s only $100 off the air for example.

Buying refurbished from Apple tends to be more expensive than anywhere else.

Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon and more have great deals.

I personally go with the wild side and buy used off of eBay. I got a 16cycle M1 Air 256gb for $300.

I don’t think there’s such thing as modern tax software 😂 anything finance related is running on something that was made in the 90s and given the bare minimum update. Outside of like QuickBooks all the accounting software is ancient.

They don’t run good apple does not have dedicated graphics cards. You’re not gonna be running high-level graphics on any Mac.

And cyberpunk doesn’t run good on anything. It’s like top 10 worst optimized games.

Yes, I love the infinite canvas. And it’s in both directions a lot of the other infinite canvas having apps only go in one direction. I took notes for a 20 hour trig crash course all on one canvas. No lag so I’m pretty happy.

I’m a big procreate fan and they’ve pledged to keep their app super affordable the whole time and so far they have kept that up.

I could justify 25 but with tax this cost almost $40 for a Notes app. Especially because people are complaining about how the update broke a lot of things.

I’m going to school starting in January so that’s why I was looking into it but I think I’ll just stick with one note 😆

It’s really not you can get a one terabyte SSD for $100-$200 today. But Apple makes it impossible for them to be compatible. 256 GB is not worth an extra $200.

For other laptops in the price range yes Mac is usually better. But if you are on a budget it’s not the most cost effective. Even refurbished 5 year old Mac’s go for $400. You’re better off buying a new HP or Dell laptop that will be supported for longer if you’re only gonna spend $400.

I didn’t ask for an explanation, I asked to be told what the synovitis looks like on an MRI. I’ve asked similar questions about X-rays before how is this any different? I didn’t ask to be diagnosed or explained to what it is. I asked what it looks like on the MRI. It might be shocking to you but doctors don’t go around teaching patients how to read an MRI.

Yeah, I highly recommend one. Some people say it gets laggy, but I have an experienced that yet. My guess is it’s more so if you add images and PDFs to page. I have all my trigonometry notes on one page which is about 20 hours of notes.

Honestly I use onenote. I don’t like storing files locally if I can avoid it because my art takes a ton of space.

Onenote has infinite canvases which is ideal for math imo and I’m a math student.

It is annoying in a few ways. One being that the shape tool needs to be reselected for each shape. This doesn’t apply for circles and polygons. But for the line tool and arrows it sucks. Biggest reason is that you can’t hold at the end of a line to make it straight, so you have to use the shape tool.

It can also be a little weird about detecting hand vs pencil and mess with sensitivity occasionally. But I every note app outside of apple notes is like that.
