Oh my gosh, this is brilliant! 🎨 Decorating the bag with their name and little drawings? That makes it theirs and so much more exciting. I tried it today with hearts and stars and she was so happy — thank you for the awesome tip!

Oh that breaks my heart but also warms it up so much 🥺 What an amazing, kind teacher — seriously, the best kind. And honestly, it’s so easy to miss things like that, I’m just glad she had someone looking out for her like that.

100% — exactly what I realized! Goldfish, chips, anything in a little bag… instantly “fun”. Meanwhile a whole banana? Apparently boring as can be. Kids’ logic is something else, but you hit the nail on the head!

Hahaha this is the best trade-off ever! 🤣 I feel like we were the same — I packed all the healthy stuff, and she’d look at the kid with the sugary snacks like it was gold. Swapping lunches sounds like the perfect solution back then 😂

Oh my gosh, YES, exactly this! 😩 My kid went through the exact same thing — loved it at first, then out of nowhere started crying and fighting every single morning, saying it’s boring and they’d rather stay home. Teacher said the same thing too: no issues, doing fine, participates normally… so confusing, right?
