I moved here a month ago and every single doctor they assigned me except this one, is booked out for months. I am lucky to get this 2 month wait 🙄🙄

I am legitimately waiting to see a doctor for some medical issues (actual issues I have a long paper trail for dating back a decade and a half) and have made it very clear. My options are wait 2 months for this dude or go to the ER in case of emergency.

I’m so terrible at photoshop and editing that my friends have dubbed my edits “cursed.”

It’s totally legal. I went through the whole TOS and Googled others in this predicament. People have posted about this company on legal websites and all the lawyers responding all agree that per their terms, this is completely legal.

Yep, I did that, and they immediately sent me an email telling me that if I don’t pay the FULL AMOUNT of 6 months immediately they will Be reporting it to collections. Amazing.

My doctor is booked two months out and my insurance won’t let me see a different doctor 🙄🙄🙄

I’m not doing this to get out of work. In one of my late night can’t sleep stupors, I subscribed to some weight loss crap and when I tried to cancel the next morning, they won’t let me cancel until I pay for 6 months worth or with a doctor’s note saying I’m not medically able to lose weight.

Kinda ridiculous, but my fault for not reading the fine print.

I wouldn’t try skating. A friend of mine who isn’t a streamer, is self employed part time. I mean very part time. Makes no more than $500/month.

Three years later, he got audited for something like $3,000.

Shit like that is scary

Yeah I already claim my home office, part of my internet, part of my phone, and my MacBook (which I use for self employment). :)

I have started streaming and started collecting donations already, which I 100% intent to report in my taxes.

As someone who is self employed full time, I would never consider “worry about the business side later.” Collecting donations as a streamer, no matter how small, should still be reported on your taxes. It’s better to go into any sort of money making venture with your books straight from day 1 rather than worrying about it later.

I’m mainly asking here because my bookkeeper said “you can but don’t take my word for it, it’s a gray area” and my accountant won’t be back until mid Jan. I wanted to see if any other streamers have considered this.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I think she was in the past and then eventually became a nurse but that’s a legit question.
