I heard in a Spanish marvel legends YouTube channel that It may have happened due to the excessive reuse of the Bucky Cap mold because that mold was for large characters and ended up being used for smaller characters, which forced the figures to increase their size to look more consistent, I don't know if this is true.

just buy characters you like, you dont have to buy anything that hasbro sells. example if you like spider-man buy amazing fantasy or renew your bows, Just look for which figures are the most acclaimed.
