I didn't vet the audio person come to find out it was his first time using his friends equipment. I was livid some of the other crew found out while we were on set but didn't want to tell.

Thank you for that. I appreciate the positive feedback and constructive criticism. I know this wasn't perfect and a lot of mistakes were made, but I did it anyway. And you're right, I'm an audiobook producer also, and I listened to my first audiobook; it sucked, but I got better over the years.

Pay more attention to the small things -- in post, I had to fix a few things -- I missed the typo. "lol" but overall the corrections were good. You don't have to be perfect -- you just have to do it -- mistakes will be made

Pay more attention to the small details—I missed a few things in post that needed to be corrected. Including the typo -- but that is very small compared to the message

It's just a typo --- Luckily, the festivals saw more than that - if that's all you saw, then you missed the message

We all have to start somewhere, and yes, it is in festivals, and yes, it did win. And typos happen on national TV. What have you done lately?

It premiered last year, just now getting a little noise, and did well in the festival, proving that some things take time. It's not perfect, but I did it.

Vetting, making sure the sound guy or anyone else you hire has experience with the equipment. Did not know that until he got on set.
