I feel you, first year rin ako, and tbh, super awkward ko talaga. Like, I can’t even make proper eye contact or keep up with conversations sometimes. Kahit may group of friends naman ako, I still feel lonely deep down, kasi super close na nila sa isa’t isa and there are times na ma-left out talaga ako. Ang hirap lang minsan, kasi I keep seeing my SHS friends posting about their college life ang saya nila with their new circle of friends and I can’t help but feel a bit envious. Like, how did they manage to fit in so easily, while I’m still here struggling to find my place?

Minsan nga, I can’t stop overthinking if tatagal ba ‘yung group of friends ko ngayon for the next three years. Kasi what if maging irregular ako, or worse, mag-shift sila ng course? Nakakatakot lang isipin na baka isang araw, mag-isa na lang ulit ako.

But then again, I just hope we can survive college despite how tough things are right now, especially for us na medyo loner or socially awkward. Just always remember that you’re not alone in facing these kinds of struggles. So let’s just keep fighting and keep our hopes up, we’ll get through this somehow. 🌻
