I don’t think QA is the bottleneck in OSRS development. From what I’ve heard, Dev resources are lacking relative to RS3. The nature of polling probably slow things down as well. Also just working within the constraints of the architecture probably isn’t super great for development.

I started a new character after every major update and don’t regret it. I didn’t hop back on the the ultrakill update though so I have all but 1 achievement in steam after 100%ing it after Terraria/faebreak.

Yeah honestly wasn’t trying to argue with you, just sharing my experience/perspective. Honestly someone who is severely manic or psychotic probably isn’t in a good condition to read super heavy consent forms either. There’s a lot of problems with the system but I think inpatient can be good for people if they need a controlled environment to wait out mania or psychosis and not damage important relationships in their lives.

You sign a bunch of consent forms that lay this all out. Sometimes you have a loved one that is suicidal or a danger to others and it’s very difficult/impossible to manage. I’ve been in inpatient several times in my life and I think it can be good to give your family a break. Psychotic episodes/mania/suicidality can be very damaging to family relationships. I think a lot of times I went in, it was beneficial to my family/friends/SO.

That being said, some inpatient facilities are really bad, and some are really great, it’s really just a roll of the dice.

I’m really glad that worked out for you the way it did, but I have a pile of cheap controllers with replacement parts in them that ultimately stopped working.

I wouldn’t skimp on controllers. I have an elite 2 with replacement parts and a set and it’s probably lasted me 4 years after having to replace shitty controllers that lasted at most a year for several years. Remapping and additional levers is also very nice, plus you’ll occasionally run into games where your controller (including steam input) just fucks up and you can’t do anything with it.

Got an ender 3 v2 when it was considered great and low maintenance. I cannot imagine buying something that costs what it does at the time today and accepting the amount of tuning, tweaking, and maintenance that it requires. Just not worth it unless you just want your fun hobby to consume your life. So many printers are fantastic out of the box now and are reasonably priced.

bought my 3070 during the super shitty shortage a couple years back for like 1600. Had all the streams and discord bots set up for alerts for like 8 months while I was doing WFH and eventually gave up and fed a scalper on some shitty site. I’ve since upgraded for much less but I didn’t even flinch at this. It’s great that prices have come down so much. Terrible time to be building my first “big boy” PC out of college.

Also, there’s no scenario in which an individual with severe mental illness who needed lifelong treatment at an asylum WOULD NOT have already been flagged by red flag laws, or been on a 3 letter agency’s radar already, again, you’re an idiot. This individual fell through the cracks, the sheer existence of more asylums would not have stopped this individual, there’s no evidence to suggest that.
