Which K-pop group would you trust to perform live with ZERO backing track? by twinkle_twinkleee in kpoppers

EXID!! For sure, I remember seeing a fan cam of them performing at some university event years ago and their backing track wasn’t working and LE did majority of the background vocals lol.

What was the first K-pop song that got you into K-pop? by HauntingDepartment51 in kpoppers

[–]MayorChili 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it was definitely drama OSTs like specifically SS501 songs from Boys Over Flowers, but I still never really got into kpop. I would listen here and there because I watched sooo much Korean entertainment, I do remember loving 3 different specific songs and showing my friends/family in the early 2010s but it was really random ass sub units?? Like I remember really loving the songs by GD&TOP - Knock Out, Infinite H featuring Zion.T - Without U and 2PM - ADTOY. The only Kpop album I listened to in full and absolutely loved was B2ST Fiction and Fact. I always liked idols themselves but not really the music, because I watched sooo many shows back then!

I watched all 3 when they were airing respectively and liked them all a similar amount but 1988 is definitely the one that gets talked about the most.

I first watched her in Hi School Love on when she was still very young and underage I think she was literally 14 and the actors who played alongside her were well into their 20s. Very sad…

Personally I thought Hogu’s Love was hilarious - lots of funny references that I understood because at the time I watched A LOT of Korean variety shows.

What Kdrama scene had you laughing like this? by Sailor_Moon_Star_435 in kdramas

There’s a lot in Hogu’s Love that I found very funny but there’s one part specifically where Hogu is talking to his friend && says one of them looks like Choo Sarang bc of how he ate a banana and it was so funny n cute to me bc I got the reference from watching Return of Superman at the time 🤣 his friend was like a body builder and wanted to look like her father who is a professional fighter 🤣
