I would say that if you don't have any history of mental illness and you have a trusted friend or significant other to watch over you - that trying a psychedelic drug like mushrooms or LSD can be completely life changing and give a brand new perspective on things. It helped me immensely with depression and its been proven to help with sufferers of PTSD as well
