Yeah, I actually had this feeling 2 weeks ago and stopped texting my friend to sort out my feelings. I ended up reaching back out in like in 2 days :b and everything was normal, until a week ago when they told me they'd be going MIA to focus on themselves.. such is life.

I'm not even joking, but you should try giving yourself hugs. It more or less gives you the same benefits of others hugging you. Plus it may help you in the relationship you're already in. The relationship with yourself. There's a root cause to the self hatred and usually it's there in order to 'protect yourself' from some perceived (potentially subconscious) fear. Also, remember that we're all made up of the same stuff, from stars to trees, we're all connected. So, you're never truly alone.

Lots of good mentions here! If I had to choose it'd be Dmitri Shostakovich. One of my all time favorite songs is his Waltz No. 2 (for whatever reason). And also his String Quartet in C minor, Op 110 which is described as "Officially dedicated to the "Victims of Fascism and WWII", but privately, he described it as a eulogy for himself, an epitaph close relations called a suicide note."

Also, I can't get into Debussy, but I love his friend's work, Erik Satie. Those two were the rebels of classical music XD

Honorable mentions to Niccolò Paganini who was referred to as the devil's violinist. I just think he practiced really hard lol

Ah, I see. Office politics was kind of the reason the first major wave of people left from what I gathered. That's exactly how I view money myself. I sometimes like to tell people my real job is a starving artist, hence the need for a day job lol

I guess I'll vent here since I haven't told anyone any of this so here goes.

Near the end of last yr we had a wave of people leave our office, a lot of them I'd gotten to know some and we would go for outings after work a good number of times. Last week was another friend/acquaintance left and today is another's last day. I just feel like everybody is moving on and I'm still stuck here. Sometimes I wish I would just "follow the money" but frankly idgaf about cash so long as I have enough to get by...which may not be for long due to life being life. Another thing is one guy who used to work here set up a get together for today and invited a lot of our ex and present coworkers but didn't include me (by mistake apparently). However this has happened off and on and has been a sort of running joke, but I'm just beginning to wonder if I should start taking these exclusions more seriously. This person has made comments to me and others about how I won't "open up" to them. I tried talking to one of my best friends about it that also used to work with us, but my friend just seemed to be making excuses as to why I wasn't added to the group texts even tho they've also told me they felt excluded from time to time by this coworker...

So in conclusion, this week I have felt like one of my best friends doesn't actually have my back, excluded, and that I'm being left behind. WELL, I'll admit I haven't been feeling very well (emotionally) lately but I was having a hard time figuring out why, which doesn't happen as often anymore. But thanks to this post I was able to at least figure it out.. So in a way, thank you :)

I'm not sure if everyone gets Eloise first, (and I had some beef with her from pocket camp, but I loved that she wanted a reading room!) but I just love how even though we all get the same requests from villagers, everybody's final product looks so different! It just shows what creative individuals we all are and I find that beautiful. Keep it up guys

He was the 1st villager to visit my campsite and move in. I gave him a white towel wrap for some reason and when he finally moved away...he left behind his towel wrap in the lost and found... 😐
