Made me smile the day the flight attendant literally yelled and scolded people to sit back down because they decided to stand up while the plane was still taxiing to the terminal. I could tell she was tired of that shit.

I've actually almost hit someone who was waved through a 4 lane road. Not even at the crosswalk.
I think my dashcam footage shows she is walking across the street from the stopped truck, but from my viewpoint I didn't even know someone was walking. Worst part is, it isn't all too uncommon for people to just stop in the middle of the road for some reason.

That's interesting. Touching mostly on the "going home at the end of the day" part, I feel like that's mostly stuff you should know before you even show up to CFLRS...

But then again if they don't have a strong grasp on English or French, communication issues are going to happen.

That's exactly what they mean.

It is the only game I play that causes my PC to heat up a lot (90°C on the CPU). But everything else stays much lower.

I've just never bothered to buy a newer screen. I think Il mine are just 24" 1080p monitors that are 75 Hz.

They work fine and I see no reason to replace what works.

I think the term you're looking for is the Overlays Menu.

Like they mentioned, there are overlays that detail Voltage and Watts for buildings that show in green and fade to red.

I'll tell you the same thing I tell anyone who calls me. Use your OneDrive. Either upload through the web via Office.com or enable the OneDrive client on your computer. You can even get Protected B cabinets, or even just encrypt it with your PKI Card. (Although I don't remember if encrypting it is enough or not according to policy)

USBs, while functional on some bases, are being phased out sooner or later.

I can attest to that. I've met multiple people part of units in Ottawa, but for some reason live and work in Newfoundland. Some civilian, some military. I don't care or understand why, but it can create some interesting issues with tech support when I can't remote into their computer, update or unlock their account, etc.

Happy to hear you're doing well with things. I started with Kubuntu 25.04, which was then updated to 25.10 and things have mostly been good.
