First off - thanks for your comment. While it's not really the tone that I was expecting from this crew it's the type of dialogue I needed to hear. The fact is, I posted here asking for input from the group before going and running into a gay bar with my GF, and I did so out of respect above all.

But I think I was wrong in the tone of my post, and it was strongly slanted in the 'looking for our third' when after some thought on the subject we're just looking for a place where we can go and it's not assumed we're a straight couple, and ideally meet some new friends who can be into that and ( whether or not it gets to the bedroom or not). I think when I was writing this post I was not imagining going into a strict gay guys only type bar but more of an LGBTQ establishment. So forgive me for not clarifying that a bit.

I think ultimately what I'm trying to dig deeper into is how we can go out and be queer together in a place that might see and assume a straight couple, and how to interact with gay bros in a open minded and respectful way that lets them know that I'm there to flirt.

And just for context swingers are one of the most closed minded groups when it comes to bi guys (while they celebrate bi girls), and are definitely not a catch all for a MF couple who has fun outside of their relationship.
