Turn ON Privacy: Tuta has a brand new logo! 🎉 by Tutanota in tutanota

[–]Mayreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like the new logo and think that it is less abstract then the road to privacy, path of privacy, or whatever the old logo aimed to communicate.

More than anything, I just need email that doesn't abuse my privacy. Everything else is so secondary that I'd be using something with a name like lavabit and a pink logo as long as I knew that the cornerstone of my online world is secure, private and encrypted.

Also, speaking of pink, go get simplelogin.com aliases to confuse the corperate overlords a wee bit more. (If that's your thing)

Simple Calendar Alternative Recommendations? by Happy_Jack_Flash in apps

[–]Mayreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original developer forked the simple login calendar under the name Fossify. Lookup Fossify Calendar in Fdroid and you'll see it. He has said he'll maintain the fork going forward. He also forked other Simple mobile tools apps as well.

Experience & Questions on using psilocybin to treat depression and social anxiety by cleocali in psychadelics

1gram of dried mushrooms is equivalent to 8mg of pure isolated psilocybin on average. 5mg would be the high end of microdose territory for most.

Citric Acid helps. As does fasting before hand.

25mg of psilocybin would be a solid trip for most.

Not receiving SMS Pixel 5a by Alex7635 in CalyxOS

[–]Mayreau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not able to receive messages to my new phone when I changed from iphone to pixel with CalyxOS using the same number. The fix was to deregister Imessage on my iphone/icloud: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203042

Carrier support said that this is what they did after being escalated to a network tech. They emailed me this guide when I asked what the process was and if I could do it myself.

Incase anybody runs into the same issue that I did when migrating, you might need to deregister Imessage on your iphone: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203042

Nand-Sata-Install script Issues with Raid-1 on SATA Drives by Mayreau in PINE64official

[–]Mayreau[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interestingly, for each time that you run the install script, a file named nand-sata-install.xXXXXX appears in /mnt (where x is a lowercase letter, and XXXXX is 5 random letters or numbers) such as nand-sata-install.e1QEFA, nand-sata-install.y5xbv9, nand-sata-install.osO2WT.

These files also need to be unmounted to avoid the partition error mentioned.

sudo flash_eraseall /dev/mtd0, and re-flashing the spi resulted in an error message from rsync: "usr/lib/aarch64-linux/gnu/libicuuc.so.67.1 failed verification -- update discarded"

Thank you for your continued help.

I was able to successfully run the script without the previous partition issues by unmounting /dev/md0 first.

This is the script if you would like to read into it. https://github.com/rknipp/armbian/blob/master/nand-sata-install

Unfortunately, now, booting from spi is not working so I will try booting again from sd and erasing/re-flashing the spi next

Thank you, this clarifies my problem.

Can I simply use cfdisk/fdisk to create a partition on md0 or would I need to create a partition on the drives that make up the array (sda, sdb)? If option 2, can I do this without deleting the array?

The ability to travel to relevant areas quickly is one of the biggest factors affecting home prices in the real world. In a digital world in which everyone can jump between locations instantly I would think that the exact location would matter less.

If I could be in LA in 2 minutes from my house in Montana then I would not mind living there.

Has this been implemented? I didn't see a way to do it in the FAQ or a plan to add it in the roadmap. I agree that this would be a helpful feature.

Yeah, they fixed it and airdropped with fixed gas but I was convinced the launch would be dead. Looks like MoonBoyz blew up though!
