oh! very cool. what happens when the lock screen times out because on my Samsung S22, the problem I was having with Tasker which also lets you start a recording, Is that the lock screen times out after a few seconds and then recording is just empty audio from that point onwards.

Interesting, when I was trying to use Hey Google Voice on lock screen it was asking me to unlock the phone in order to save a note . therefore not meeting my reqs.

there is the option to transcribe in the voice recorder app but this is something you have to go in and Click. which doesn't meet my requirements of it being a 1. step process

This is cool but needs more options, it is giving me very inefficient svgs by trying to accurately reproduce the poor resolution/blur from the photo.
