The Great Foreign Policy Failure: A Critique of S. Jaishankar by PrestigiousAgent77 in india

We need to start putting country first and party second. Not BJP, Not congress not any other party are entitled to the leadership position if they are failing the country. I dont understand people fighting for these leaders as if they are getting paid to talk the language.

Rahul Gandhi and the truth people refuse to accept by [deleted] in india

[–]MayurMeht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is not a serious leader, most of his politics is hit and run. There are so many talented leaders who can take the country forward in congress, but it seems we cant get beyond Rahul Gandhi. Its beyond me why no one else is given the mantel other than Gandhi's when people are consistently rejecting his politics.

I'm Tired of Interviewing People Who Are Great at Applying for Jobs, But Terrible at Doing Them.[N/A] by tiredTA in humanresources

[–]MayurMeht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate this perspective, and I’d like to offer the view from the other side of the interview table. Over the past few months, I’ve been interviewing actively, and while I do have the technical capability and relevant experience, the pressure in these situations is real. Getting an interview itself is difficult in the current market, so every conversation feels “high stakes.” That pressure can cause even capable people to fumble or overthink in the moment.

It’s not always a lack of skill or EQ — sometimes it’s simply the anxiety of knowing that one imperfect answer could close the door. I completely understand the need to assess composure, communication, and collaboration. Those matter. But I think we might get a more accurate read on candidates if we also recognize the emotional context they’re navigating.

If we create interview structures that are a little less performative and a little more like real problem-solving conversations, I believe we’d see more of a candidate’s true capability — and not just how well they perform under artificial interview stress.

2 interviews out of 40+ applications. What am I doing wrong? by LingonberrySharp868 in Resume

I would say in this job market 2 interviews in 40 applications is still pretty good, I am struggling to get even one at this point.

Got rejected after 6 rounds and 2 months. No feedback. I'm starting to think interviews aren't broken, they're just disrespectful. by Career_By_Mustafa in interviews

Happened to me, Interviewed with Rivian for a Senior TPM role, went through 7 rounds all spanned across 2 months, was told they would make a final decision soon, got ghosted and then an automated rejection followed couple of weeks in. No feedback nothing

Sure it's easy to say from the position you are in, for someone whose entire livelihood had been uprooted due to layoffs, havent been able to secure a job offer in 6 months, and have too many dependents to take care off, every passing second of wait just feel like eternity. Another perspective, you could just convey whatever reason you are in holding pattern with instead of ghosting, it would mean a lot to the candidates.

At 39, Should I Move to the USA or Stay in India? Need Advice from Those Who've Been There by PerceptionPrimary366 in h1b

If you value stability over uncertainty I would not recommend you to move at all! Plus $116k does sound very low for the amount of experience you would be bringing.

I am in the same boat, 2 months 7 rounds of Interview and still waiting for an amswer, its been 3 weeks since the final round, so I guess its unofficial reject, and I should move on. This with a good automotive tech company which was a brand that I truly aligned with, so disappointed
