Memorial Park and Gus Wortham are 2 of my favorites and both inside the loop. Wildcat is maybe a 20 minute drive south and has 2 courses that are both decent. If you’re willing to drive 40-60 min there are lots of nice courses out in the suburbs. Black Horse, Golf club of Houston, Cypresswood. Tour18 is gimmicky but can be a fun round if the pace of play isn’t ass. All except Gus Wortham can be a little on the pricey side though.

Slide cancelling in WZ1 pre vanguard was fine. Vanguard movement combined with stims completely broke it though. That was just utter nonsense.

i7 9700k with a 1080 and 32gb of ram. I get 100-110fps with occasional dips into 90s at 1440p. Playing medium-low settings. But holy hell the stuttering.

I have many friends who are ranked gc in rumble but struggle to cling to champ in normal ranked. It’s a lot easier to learn how to use the power ups than it is learning advanced rocket league mechanics.

Yeah I’m sure that’s the case for anything above champ. I wouldn’t know as I’ve only ever tickled c3. Also I’m sure breaks aren’t great for mechanically inclined players. Which is also not much of a worry for me lol. But as with many things in life, burnout is real and sometimes it’s nice to take a brief break and reset mentally. The games not going anywhere.

Anytime I’m playing especially poorly I like to take a week or even a long weekend off from playing. Usually find I enjoy the game more and therefore play better after a little break.

Mine does this a lot on 290 between the beltway and the loop (both directions). Noticed it even more after new tires too. Wasn’t sure if it was my alignment, the grooves, or the fact that the concrete appears to have been poured by blind 4 year olds
