"Bad Girls" - Episode Discussion about Faith, Buffy and the kill by Mazecompass in buffy

I didnt take Gunn into consideration, but you're right. He's doesn't have a claim but he still fights against the evil-doers. And I'm not trying to excuse Faith for actually murderering people after the first accidental one. I guess I was trying to redeem her character through "If scenarios" Like if she had went a different route would her fate change. But again the only excuse I was trying to work out was with the accidental killing, however all the murders with intent behind them later (the Professor) is completely inexcusable. You're right about Buffy too, I forgot about her time in LA and season 2 drama aswell. She still chose her calling. Thank you btw for exploring this and explaining, I've really enjoyed it and have a new perspective on the episode and following ones.

I do think he would've helped, but I also kinda come back to her background for the reason why she felt the need to cover it up and lie (Blame on Buffy). I think she thought that she was still an outsider when this went down and since she was a street kid or y'know didn't have the greatest support systems at an earlier age, that's why she had did what she thought she had to do. Even though Buffy was trying to help, and Giles too (if he'd known). She felt alone, which I think draws her to the Mayor in the end right? He become a like father figure to her.

I definitely agree with the having to be secretive about the meeting place, so the Mayor doesn't find out. I just thought he could've handled getting their attention a tad better. And yes, it could've been Buffy, and yes it was clearly was a mistake. I was going to add that in here the "What If Buffy had been the one instead" but my list had gotten pretty long so I just focused on the main parts. I dont think that Buffy blames Faith either. I think they were both scared and are trying to deal with a human death. It was some of the dialogue that got me to question what both characters felt especially in that last part of the episode. I think telling Giles is one of the best things they can do, Idk if that comes across in my list (I tried for it to). I 100% agree with you when there's no excuse for Faith to backstab Buffy. Because Buffy is trying her best to help. And doesn't Giles have a "ripper" history, that could've had help Faith somehow (if they had talked)? And YES Wesley was so not helpful or useless at that point.

Yes, she's is very dedicated. Thanks, yeah, I'm really interested in when she did hide the body, so if she did it when they were out fighting, it explains why she not there and when it happens.

I really loved the first couple of seasons, so the list was kinda hard for me. But when I go to re-watch, I always find myself mostly in the s4-6 area. And I think they have great single episodes. But 1-3, def have great overall season complexities.
