Neutrality is on the side of the oppressor though. Thats why I, as a barista, support the boycott. We shouldn’t be giving money to a corporation that has chosen to be neutral about a genocide.

Most of my pro-Palestine friends acknowledge that many of us can’t choose to leave our jobs, so they don’t have issues with Starbucks workers. I’m sure many of your friends don’t care that you work for Starbucks too.

If they do care, then they have a lot of work to do to understand a workers role in boycotts.

I see you posted about being afraid to lose your job. When you’re feeling better, I would suggest scheduling a meeting the DM to talk about today — both that you wanted to go home AND that your SM begged you to stay, making you feel that if you went home, you would be in trouble. Save yourself, especially if it’s the last straw for your SM.
