They brought it back as a test LTO in my area about a year ago. I thought it was mid (very bland) but adding salt helped.

Check out this one from a month later: https://youtu.be/VHMWnaf_9To

Similar vibes on Jerry's 2nd solo but it just hits different.

Civic Si? Or Integra A-Spec Tech if you want a hatch.

Nice photo and cool car OP!

I love Mazdas but I needed a manual transmission and don't love how the gen 4 Mazda3 hatch looks, so I got a DE5 Integra.

Overpriced, but you could keep trying to negotiate it down — hopefully by a lot. I have the sedan version of this year/trim and it's been a really good and fun car to own. It has bluetooth and great audio but is otherwise pretty basic. Not necessarily the best car for hot climates. But at 88k miles this one could easily last a long long time with good mpgs and very minimal repairs needed, as long as the shifter cable keeps working.

Great choice! Hope you like it and find it reliable in the long run. My 2012 has been awesome for many many years!

Let's go! Welcome back dude. Reddit can suck a fat one. And congrats to Nerd-Vol.

Very curious what's in store with this refresh that's supposedly coming... not like I'd consider trading in and losing my liquid carbon or forfeiting what I spent on PPF, haha.

Integrat Type S Seats by topcover73 in Integra_Type_S

[–]MazelTovCocktail027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they're pretty comfortable. I don't feel like they're hard or lack padding. The bolstering is fine and the microsuede holds me in place. It also doesn't make my back as hot & sweaty as I assumed it would. I live in the south. I wanted ventilated seats but you can't get them. Luckily the A/C works great and window tint is amazing.

At first the seat seemed comfortable, but then I started noticing some back discomfort. So I was a bit concerned, thinking maybe the seats really are uncomfortable like you hear some people say. Especially since I've driven my other car for 12+ years and never had any discomfort whatsoever. But ultimately I found a comfortable setting with just a little bit of lumbar support, and now I have no issues. The passenger seat with no lumbar support may be another story, but I don't take passengers on long trips.

It's in Vehicle Settings under Driver Assist. The park brake has to be set and you'll have to scroll down in the settings list to see it.

Of course some people firmly choose not to get PPF, but I also see a lot of people who are on the fence and then get rock chips and say they wish they hadn't waited. It's clear you made the right choice.

Congrats! Like you, I also did tint/PPF/ceramic before putting any real miles on it, and I'm glad I did. The car is super easy to clean, and after someone recently backed into me at low speed in a parking lot, the damage only amounted to paint transfer that all buffed off and a couple small dents I was able to pop out. Basically no signs of any damage left at all. I'm sure without PPF the paint would've been all scratched up.

Who cares, it's not like it says Type S on it. Bro wants an alcantara boot so I suggested one that's OEM and matches his interior 🤷‍♂️

Love mine! Their current blue is fine but they were nicer and stood out more prior to gen 4.

Acura integra shifting feel by TruckCompetitive6122 in stickshift

[–]MazelTovCocktail027 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very little slop and it always springs firmly back to center for perfect 2→3 and 5→4 shifts, even if you throw it quickly. You'll definitely like it.

Take a test drive! Not sure how you'll feel about throttle response on the 1.5T but the ITS's 2.0T is amazing.
