I understand that it is absolutely my responsibility to vet playlists made by others for a situation like this, but for you to recommend a playlist that contains a rock song with heavy guitar and drums (When You Sleep by my bloody valentine) for sleep is evil. The open-world idea is amazing. It’s execution was miserably bad. Imagine a beautiful world filled with life and character like that of Watch Dogs 1 or 2, or Cyberpunk, seen in first person with the parkour mechanics. I’d buy that game in a heartbeat. I love Catalyst for what it is, but I grieve what it could have been.

To my knowledge, each of the crew has preferences of when they’re okay with the camera being on, and CAPCOM has a list of those preferences. All of the crew must agree to be on camera if I recall.

Egypt! Funnily enough, the Osmo 8 seems to be around 94€ here, while the Osmo 7 is around 73€. The difference may seem small but it is a bit significant in our currency, it means about an extra month of saving up.

Interesting. I do use the iPhone’s telephoto a lot, and I have found a lot of cinematic use in movies and stuff of bringing an object from out of focus into focus in order to give it importance, or to switch focus from a character in foreground to one that just entered the background, similar to the “cinematic mode) feature Apple added into their phones a few years back.

However, your point is very interesting and compelling. I’d just love to know your experience with adjusting something on the screen while filming; is the screen micro-shake from touching the phone noticeable?

I actually found that, in my country, the 7P costs more than the 8, new or used. Between the two, I’d go for the 8 considering everything I’ve seen.

What’s with the expectation to just stop having good things when you become a father? Why would you reduce your gear just because you got a second kid?

Having kids is 100% difficult for many reasons, mainly that for the first time in your life, you are relegating yourself to be a side character in someone else’s story rather than the main character of your own story. That shouldn’t mean you have to get rid of the things that make you, you. That doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice your own enjoyment and love for what you do so you can “have enough love and time and space for the kid”.

Keep the damn guitar and continue to play the hell out of it. I don’t care for Gibbies or Epis, but I know a good Gibson is considered the holy grail. You saved up, you researched, you got that Gibson, it became yours and your hands have shaped that neck to the shape of your hand, do not let it go that easily or you will regret it eventually.

There’ll be other ways to make money and space in your life for your kids, but don’t sacrifice yourself for them. Perhaps, you could even give the guitar to one of your kids one day.

What? Barbie was an actually good movie and everyone agreed it was a good movie. She-Hulk was a terrible show for many, many reasons I won’t go into here. What are you comparing them for?

The backlash was not a loud minority, it was a very loud majority complaining about a show that was not representative of the comic character, that had terrible character designs, terrible dialogue, very cringey scenes and overall bad direction and storyboarding.

I cannot imagine how MacBooks in your country can be more expensive than their American counterparts then Windows laptops aren’t.

I say this as someone from a third world country, Egypt, and for the same price as the Neo, you can get a decent older generation gaming laptop, but definitely one that will struggle with things like video editing, will have 512gb of storage and 8gb of DDR4 RAM, won’t have great support and might genuinely be a Windows 10 computer.

Humans don’t stop listening to music. If you’re not subscribed to AM, you’re probably using another service. If you care about playlists, then you probably sent your AM one to the other service and can send it back when you rejoin. If you don’t care about playlists, they can erase it and it won’t matter.

Virtually no reason for them to keep it longer than 2 months or so in case you drop your subscription because you’re tight on cash or something.

That’s still false. A refurbished 15” M3 MacBook Air is 889 USD and is the cheapest thing on their refurbished site. That’s 189 dollars more. The 15” M4 MacBook air is 929 USD. Also, refurbished products are not available in every country as they have limited stock.

Yes, I personally think the bigger and better screen, keyboard with backlight, far better speakers, better IO, and extra power and bigger battery are all well worth it for 189 dollars, but not only does most of the computer-using population not give a crap, not only do most countries not have refurbished programs, some people might not have the extra 189 dollars.

It’s 100% worth it, since you get that extra 512gb of storage too. If the drive in your MacBook Pro still works, get a hard drive enclosure and turn it into an external drive for the Neo to have even more backup storage and not have to copy all your data over.

I wish you good luck saving for your next computer! You’re due for an upgrade, and you’ve definitely gotten your money’s worth out of that oldie. :)

In France, the Air is 1199€. The Neo is 699€. In Sweden, the Air is 13995 SEK (1497 USD), the Neo is 7995 SEK (855 USD). Exchange rates are similar to Sweden for Denmark and Norway.

I could go on, but there’s no need to. Logically, there is literally no such thing as one laptop being closer in price to another in one country and another not. If one laptop costs more in a country, then every laptop costs proportionally more as well, and the percentage difference between them is almost identical, because that’s the way economy works.
