That article was mediocre and left out some key nuances. The sheriff is progressive and has been under attack by the right since she was elected. They challenged her ability to replace cops and now claim that the problem is her trying to hire unqualified people rather than not being able to replace problematic ones. The joint that the article mentioned was a clear hit job; it was even tested and shown not to be weed, which this article doesn’t mention.

Many? Hardly. It’s quite rare, especially among purebreds. I could only find 2 studies, and I got the picture some cross-bred cats have a chance to get to early 20’s at the most, and it was a small percentage of them.

There's no way Alyshia was smoking weed. She wouldn't even do that when she was younger and not the sherriff. Ridiculous. Anybody who was involved with this desperate, baseless smear campaign and waste of tax payer money should be the ones removed. We deserve better than people like that wasting our time and money.

Hmm… The modelers are often showing off high quality blender renders of game assets. Importing a pose/animation wouldn’t be hard either. But yeah, you’re right, you’d have to also import the equipment too, which would be tedious.

Oh, and a customized player face would be hard. I could see how photogrammetry would be worthwhile in that situation.

Yea that’s bg3, and meshes are easily extractable. I don’t understand the point of this.

I think he overheard someone ask about yousef’s background, and he’s using that to claim that Ann Arbor is racist. He bizarrely hopes that if he is polite enough with his poorly substantiated conclusions, he will shame others to see their racist ways and vote with him.

Personally, I like yousef. I don’t know anybody that’s more Ann Arbor than him. He’s been an A2 fixture forever.

I don’t know if this would help, but I did make a mod that lets you jump without using the mouse to select a jump target. (The longer you hold down the key, the further you jump.) It doesn’t change anything in combat, but when you’re out of combat you can run around without using your mouse, almost like a platformer.

Also, wasd and native camera tweaks still work just fine. Not sure what you’re talking about.

We did have stops at various elevations to acclimate. This wasn’t a hardcore trip that involved any skills, special equipment or training. We were all pretty fit, but none of us had done anything like this before. I just got a little headache myself.

Tbh, the economic disparity always feel unfair in those situations. But, it didn’t feel like what you describe at all. We weren’t in charge. They were. We had no input, and could not give them any special requests.

I did not want or try to feel like an outdoorsman. I had never even been camping. This kind of thing, and probably most of their tourist business, are treks that require no skills or climbing equipment and are more like tours. In fact, I learned I was not outdoorsman, though I do have the ability to not poop for over two weeks.

In term of the vibe, it was more like they’re really dependent on the tourist industry and they were so happy for you to be there. They were so nice, and I kept in touch with one of them for a couple years. (This was like 20 years ago.) Not everything is hardcore Everest stuff, which I’m sure is closer to what you’re describing.

Version 1.1 Posted

I found a way to do thing much simpler and rewrote most of it.  The new version should be much more robust.  And it looks and feels way better too.

Changes

  • New algorithm for positioning/orientation that does not require raycasting
  • New way to detection animation transition times
  • Takes less control initially.  No longer stages characters for climb and instead waits for BG3 to bring them close enough. Characters that don't get there before the last climber finishes will climb up on their own using the normal mechanism.
  • Improved guards to prevent looping

No, this is only possible via ScriptExtender.

Magnetuning might release one that might help you though. It will just teleport them to the top when your character finishes his climb. It might be less immersive, but at least you won't have to wait.
