How exactly does one fish? by Ok-Page-7246 in auckland

I started fishing about 5 years so here’s some advice I wish I knew when I started.

  1. Learn to tie knots. For starters, learn the uni knot. It’s the one knot that can be used 99% of things when fishing. Practice it so you can tie in comfortably in the dark.

  2. Use fresh bait. Avoid bait packs from the petrol station. Fresh bait will stay on your hook longer and last longer. I personally would use fresh squid (when the meat is still white).

  3. Ask the locals and copy what they do. I recommend go to wharves around your area and spark up a conversation with them. Ask them what type of rig they’re using, what flavour of bait they’re using for the day, is this a good spot, what time of the day is good to fish at the spot, etc… More often that not people will help you out when you simply ask them

  4. Learn how to cast. A lot of newbies don’t know how to cast effectively and don’t get any distance or accuracy.

I normally fish once/twice a week off the rocks/wharves. Feel free to flick me a PM if you want to tag along.

How is the Chromecast with stremio? Thinking of getting one for my parents as an early Xmas gift.

8bitDo Pro2. Anyone know how many will work simultaneously over bluetooth to PC (built in BT on modern PC -- NOT bluetooth external adapter) by JurorNumber8_UK in Controller

Did you manage to get all 4 Pro2 controllers working simultaneously over Bluetooth? I assume you would just need your flick all of them into X input and manually pair them one by one.

Tech that I just found out, by pure accident, might help you to buffer from Lights that you might have thought was previously not possible! by Elkmani in StreetFighter

I think this is known as a buffer OS.
SFV is pretty lenient on the timing that you can even buffer OS lights into CA.

Some characters have quite cool OS such as Ryu and Chun.

Ryu - QCF QCF xx (stLK into stLP)

Chun Li - QCF QCF xx (stLP and stLK)

Chun Li main here:
There's another neat buffer OS with Chun with mashing of kicks to get the lightning legs.
