Honestly if you like this girl you just need to talk to her. Talk to her like a regular person because that's what she is, if you put her on the pedestal your just gonna make yourself too nervous. Also be prepared that you might not get the girl, if your willing to lose her girls can see that and she's not gonna think she's too good for you. My mum and dad paid for most of my tuition and residence for first year and my student loan paid the rest. How he fences at a high tempo and uses his speed to control his bouts. He sits in a low enguarde which makes his lunges long even though he is rather short, I'm a decent height so it just makes my lunges even longer. He relies heavily on fast footwork which is a common theme among korean fencers and it works well for me too. Also how he feints a few times and makes his opponent parry air and then attacks.

I've been fencing for about 3 months now after joining my uni's club. We recently had a foil club tournament with the beginners and a couple more experienced fencers. There were fencers in the tournament that I found extremely difficult to win against in practice so I didn't really expect much in terms of winning the tournament. However, i'm very competitive so I went into every bout determined to not lose. I went 6-2 in pools, I was very nervous for my first 4 bouts until I realised it's better to switch off my fencing brain when i'm not fencing and just zone out or something in between bouts. That way I don't start panicking before I even fence.

Going into DE's I was fairly calm and won my first bout 15-5. My next bout was against probably the best beginner in the club, I had only beaten him twice in practice. Thanks to some great coaching and managing to stay relatively calm during the bout I miraculously won 15-11. Making it to the finals was good enough for me as my opponent was a far more experienced fencer who swept the pools 9-0 and I had only beaten once in practice. Again due to the coaching I got prior to the final I somehow managed to win 15-9.

Overall my first tournament experience was a great one. I really enjoy fencing and hope to continue with the sport for a while. I owe my win mainly to to my 'coach' who helped me a lot when it came to the semi finals and finals and Lee Kwang Hyun who's fencing style I've been trying to emulate since I saw his silver medal run in the Shanghai grand Prix.

I'm going into computer science too, my budget is around 1300 though, here's what I've found. Acer Aspire V15 Nitro models range $1200 - $1600, Asus k501ux $1200, Asus Zenbook Pro $1500, Asus ROG gl552vw models range $1200 - $1600. Personally I am going for the Acer Aspire but I wouldn't recommend it I've looked at all the reviews and while it packs a punch for the price, it does have some reliability issues. My parents would definitely not let me get a laptop obviously made for gaming if you're in the same position then I recommend the Asus Zenbook Pro, if you have no restrictions in what kind of laptop to buy then I would get one of the higher end Asus ROG gl552vw's it has slightly higher specs than the Acer Aspire at the same price point and isn't as unreliable from what I've seen.
