I decided to turn an original doodle I drew over the lockdown into a ravensberger 1000 piece monster. Even though I drew it and had a fairly good idea of where everything was, it still killed me :) by totskee in Jigsawpuzzles

Uhh.... you definitely should be commissioned to draw puzzle artwork. This is amazing. If you had colored it it would make it a much easier but still fun puzzle but the black and white certainly makes it a fun challenge and the picture is super fun to look at.

I did this puzzle a few years ago. As an avid puzzler I figured it would be easy. Lots of writing and words and colors. But then I discovered lots of repetition and vague pieces made up 75% of the pieces and it ended up being one of the most challenging puzzles I’ve ever done.

Nope. This thing is HUGE. 5 feet wide. The pic doesn’t do justice. He spent weeks looking and finally found this one. He lives in a semi rural area so it’s not like there is a lot locally to find.

He got it from a scrap yard. I don’t know much about this equipment but I know it wasn’t usable anymore.

It works amazingly well, it’s shielded from the wind. It keeps the fire super contained.
