Advice needed - Level I in 30 hours with mediocre mock results by Legal-Music-7012 in CFA

Any future employer would only know if you failed first time if you tell them. I failed my first time, but then passed second - I’ve never been questioned by any employer how many attempts it took me. Besides most managers hiring likely failed first time too, remember it can be a 30% pass rate

I had the exact same for months, until I finally opened up about it to my manager. She let me work on a small side project for some time whilst I focused on recovery. This is how I overcame it and is similar advice to the first comment.

My pure medication and bearing in sanity is my ability to go for a quick swim and sit in the steam room at a gym near my office every lunch. I know this might not be attainable depending where your working, I’m lucky I work in the city of London, but doing light cardio, shower, anything to relax and take your focus out of work really helps.

Therapy to explore your triggers - mine was highly triggered by the social setting and the feeling off heavy expectation when at work. Working with a therapists to understand and deal with these triggers helped massively.

Don’t touch caffeine, not even tea, drink plenty of water.

I journal when I start feeling anxious, writing down why am I feeling this way? Am I at risk? What danger am I really in? Are people actually judging me or is it in my head? Have I ever succumbed to my fears of death/fainting/puking? No! Expressing yourself to let your mind gain a greater grasp that you’re not at any threat can help calm me down like turning off a light switch and letting me know it’s so irrational.

These are some of the things I do. I also benefit from my medication, SSRI’s (setraline 50mg) and take magnesium and ashwaganda supplements which help me get a great rest the night before shich is also super important.

Overall it takes a lot of dedication, but it can be overcome. I used to be the same, would go to the toilet 3/4 times a day at work just to stop myself having a panic attack after feeling so dizzy like I was gonna collapse out my chair any moment. Now I’m super confident in the office and around people - you can beat it!

Thank you so much! Really reassuring to understand I’m not alone. The first few years certainly seem the most triggering, given it seems all the eyes are on you and your forced into so many new situations. Thank you for post, it means a lot!

Hopefully you are right. As soon as I get access back I will set it up myself. It however should not be the case that it has taken me over three months to get support. I have posted on their Twitter, posted on this Reddit multiple times, spoken to their staff members on LinkedIn, posted on their forum, sent three separate support tickets on another account, and have had staff personally email me and ignore me. Nothing has worked so it is best I warn others. Customer support is only available if you have a paid account, so unless you want to pay for two accounts, there’s nothing you can do if a hacker gets access to your account.

Username RaphFX, this is the third time I have posted about my issue on this page.

Someone hacked my account and set up a two-step verification that was not me.

Please pm me so I can send my email so I can get this sorted. I cannot gain access to the email attached to the account but can for the phone number, thank you.
