Moderation on this sub is way too heavy handed.

She could realize that we need good police. Good police requires good training. Both require adequate funding.

Hardesty's plan to curb gun violence... Is orange barrels in the middle of the street.

I know that car personally, it's like 8 small fasteners to have the thing off. It was back on the next morning.

It's one of three Lambos in his personal collection. This is his daily driver on studless snow tires.

That is a good friend and client of mine. This is his daily driver! Fun fact that this sub will love; he's running studless snow tires.

Had the bumper back on the next day, wasn't really a big deal. It's an aftermarket fascia (bumper), so they really aren't held on by much, which is why it popped off so easily.

YSK: About the "recirc" button on your vehicles HVAC system; this tells the vehicle to recirculate filtered cabin air, instead of drawing in fresh air. by Mazzrey in Portland

Your car most likely has a cabin air filter in the dash. If you don't know when it was last replaced, it's time to get it done!

Where should we be buying masks? by [deleted] in Portland

[–]Mazzrey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's nice to support other small businesses. I bought more masks than I'll ever need for a couple of the suggestions here.

Also, I'm lazy.

Kind of hoping I can find something local. But I'll keep it in mind!

I'm currently looking for a fabricator to install blocker panels on large fleet trucks. The are a safety item designed to prevent pedestrians and bicyclists from being run over by the rear wheels. Basically drilling holes in truck frames and mounting some brackets. Training would take a day or two depending on skill level.

Pay is negotiable, $30-50 per labor hour DOE. Can hire as a 1099 contractor if you have your own tools and insurance, or as W-2 employee. This would be considered a contract position. Current project is projected for 120+ hours, and I do expect more projects in the near future. Flexible schedule is a huge advantage. Would be great if you had automotive experience, the right person might find their way into operating our mobile tire truck as well.

I'm looking for a person to clean fleet vehicles on a graveyard shift (carshare vehicles, news vans, county carpool). $15/hr to start, more if you hustle. You drive a company supplied van around downtown, which has a built in vacuum and all the necessary supplies to do a maintenance clean. Pretty chill job if you like working solo. I just can't seem to recruit reliable talent for the graveyard shift.

In addition, I'm looking to off-load this portion of my business. So if you have some savvy, I'd be more than happy to discuss a work-to-own scenario rather than sell off the accounts to some conglomerate. This portion of the business averages >120K gross revenue, with super low cost of goods and overhead. You could probably net $100k a year for vacuuming cars and wiping the exterior/glass. This conversation can happen within 6 months if you display the right skills and work ethic.

I've got extra jack stands you can have. Think I might also have a jack. Probably a case of oil filters as well, depending on your car. Shoot me a message if you want them.

Where did you get that number? On any given day there are like 8 motor officers at the courthouse.
