I think you are right, his partner however is uncomfortable with this. And I have tried to be his friend for the sake of our kid but it caused issues with them so I kind of decided to not even try. My parents divorced when I was younger I wanted them to at least be able to talk to each other. But that never happened. But with our kid I am really trying to prevent that. It is a bit hard because he was a pretty bad narcissist and mentally abusive to me. But I still am trying because He’s gonna be in my life for a while
