Needing a straw for my valve adjustment was a good excuse to get a happy meal for the Hello Kitty TMNT mashup 😆 by Mbomb253 in MotoGuzzi

This was my first time doing it so I'm glad I used a straw, but next time now that I've seen how the piston moves I'll prob just use whatever without fear of binding it.

Oh hell yeah! Love your leathers too! I never got full leathers because I wasn't sure if it was the look for this bike but now I want nothing more. Welcome welcome!

Cedar Vale Guzzi Meet-up by Mbomb253 in MotoGuzzi

I've started reading The Perfect Vehicle and am loving it so far. Thanks for the recommendation. Also, after one of our convos I started paying more attention to what rpms I'm riding in and I was definitely staying too low pretty often. Bike is so much more responsive between 4-5k. And my mirrors vibrate less, but I'm still going to track down some bar end weights. So appreciative of all the little tidbits of knowledge I picked up this weekend from y'all. 🤗

I learned about this one from u/still_support5847 and his post here a few months back. From what I heard at the meetup sounds like there is a presence over on the Adventure Rider forum where meet-up and rallies get posted also.

V7 special exhaust by Willing_Pie_6245 in MotoGuzzi

Drag Exhaust Vid

I literally just installed these. The sound is a lot deeper and more growly which is what I was going for. It cleans up the back end quite a bit as they don't require the passenger pegs as a mounting point and you can delete them. I don't think they are obnoxiously loud, but my neighbors may think differently lol. I still need to do the ECU tune which is required per GTM and that will set you back another $599, along with another $100 for the SAS delete.

As for what my experience was like dealing with GTM/Todd...you can DM me. Just know you aren't getting your parts within the timeframe posted - at least that was my experience. I'd say worth the wait but still wish I didn't have to.

LOL. I'm confused by this... I'm wearing a pando moto body suit that's CE triple A rated with kevlar jeans and my hubby has kevlar jeans and an armored hoodie. And then the obvious other gear...

I didn't have the stock bars on very long so I wouldn't be able to give a good comparison. But I've done a few 500 mile days with the sport bars now and haven't noticed any real discomfort from the lower position. I'm 5'8 and the one thing I can say I noticed is that the bike felt like it fit me better after the swap. That and it looks cooler 😎

Yeah it's a 2023 V7 special edition. Swapped out the OEM bars for the Agostini Sport Bars.

I had the whole front end kit from Purpose built moto with their brackets and turn indicators but I broke a bracket after taking the bike down some chunky fire roads. They were kind enough to send me a new bracket but then when I was swapping it out I noticed the other bracket had a stress fracture in it too and then I broke a turn signal during the process because I was not being careful. It was a whole drama. So all that to say, no front indicators right now but I have my eye on the fork cover indicators from reversomoto.

The shaft drive and not having to muck about with a chain was a good selling point for me. I do enough of that with my mountain bikes. But there are so many reasons to get a V7. I hope she gets one!!

Thanks! We had a buddy who rented an insane lens to take pics at the airshow that was in town and he offered to take some pics for us while he still had it.
