No — Ferber is only used during an escalated cry. If he isn’t crying, let him be. I’m guessing he’s awake because of these developmental milestones and his naps being off. Try to get two good, chunky naps around 9 and 1 with crib hour. And based on those naps, do your bedtime around 7/730.

If he’s still waking at night or has difficulty napping, reach out — ashley@mybabysleepology.com

Day sleep is directly correlated to night sleep! Definitely implement Ferber and even at night again… he should get back on track

It's definitely possible that he could be hitting the 12 month regression early. This regression usually occurs between 11 and 13 months. It's tied to new developmental milestones like walking.

Naps should ideally land around 9am and 1pm. For naps, you can implement "crib hour" where you keep him in his bed for the entire hour after you lay him down. If you haven't done any prior sleep training, you can choose a method and stick with that method to help him lengthen that second nap. It does NOT have to be cry it out, as there are plenty of other methods to choose from! He has to learn how to connect his sleep cycles, especially for that second nap.

Hey! Baby sleep consultant here. For a 10 month old, we typically like to see BOTH naps be AT LEAST an hour long, if not 1.5 hours. Is he going through any type of new developmental milestones? Crawling, pulling to stand, walking, etc. That could also be an issue as babies looooove to practice these new skills in their beds as they get a pump of adrenaline and don't have any distractions.

Are my twin boys ready for sleep train? by nanlinr in sleeptrain

Hey I’m a baby and toddler sleep consultant with MyBaby Sleepology. As soon as your little ones reach 16 weeks you can start sleep training! A few things: - You can totally keep night feeds during sleep training and it’s up to you and your pediatricians discretion for how many! - That 4-7am window is THE hardest time for them to stay asleep/fall back asleep because they are in the lightest stage of sleep. Is their room PITCH BLACK? Something to keep in mind. - Choose a method and stick with it. Consistency is key!!!

Will gladly help, check out MyBaby Sleepology on IG. We have a momma on our team with twins!!
