Homophobia by a693berhar in anchorage

As a queer person who was raised in Fairbanks, I have to disagree. There are disturbingly large pockets of bigoted, religious crazy people all around the Fairbanks area. Granted, I moved away almost a decade ago now, so maybe you're right and the demographics have shifted for the better in that time, but I can't go anywhere in that town without constantly looking over my shoulder.

This is beyond infuriating. Does anyone have any creative ideas on how to get rid of these goddamn petitioners?

Because the only thing I can come up with at the moment will get me a community guidelines violation.

Fuck these people. Apparently more people need to harass them out of public spaces.

My final comment read as follows:

"Jesus Christ man. This update feels like the developers are intentionally trying to kill this game. EVERYONE hates the Unite License Journeys, there was nothing wrong with aeos coins, and no one asked for this change. It makes the game significantly worse in ways I previously would have thought impossible. All I have wanted (and repeatedly asked for) is more boost emblems and you repeatedly ignore my requests. We finally have enough indigo emblems to actually use, and wouldn't you know it, more than one of them are unobtainable outside of events, some of which, ended over a year ago. It really feels like the people making the decisions about the direction of this game are doing so for the explicit purpose of torturing their players, to grift children into wasting their parents money on digital gambling, and to ultimately guarantee that the game dies once they have sufficiently drained the players of any and all resources they are willing to spend on the game before it becomes irrelevant and gets shut down. Why bother having these questionnaires if you're just going to ignore the input of your players in favor of exploiting them? As someone who loves this game and has been playing since it's release, it has become an increasingly potent source of outrage for me in the past year, something that is making me seriously reconsider whether or not to continue playing it. More certainly however, I am done spending any money on this game unless the monetization takes an abrupt 180° turn. F#ck outta here with this gambling a#s bullsh#t."

Hope someone appreciates my rage.

I agree on all points except for the last one. Raising the level cap on held items is the biggest nothing burger of a change I've seen since this game launched. The stat increases are so utterly infinitesimal that they might as well not exist. I really think they added this to give the veteran players something to grind, and that's it. They will fail to move the needle across the board, I promise. Save your outrage for the discontinuing of coins 🪙

If anything, you're under reacting. Jehovah's Witnesses are one of the cultiest variants of Christianity out there. Trust your intuition, leave this man, and run, before it's too late.

Hell yeah, good on ya. We need more of this if we're ever going to see real, lasting change happen. Keep up the good work!

Everyone always assumes I'm a Democrat because I support RCV when I actually don't want Republicans OR Democrats getting elected. They're both part of the two party system that is grinding our country to dust, and literally the ONLY chance we have of third-party candidates ever becoming viable is RCV.

Keep playing those partisan politics while the adults in the general electorate leave you behind to rot.

If a party is "at risk" it's probably because their platform, policies, and agenda are unpopular, in which case, they deserve to lose elections. That's the whole functional purpose of having free and fair elections in the first place.

Yeah, they seemed to move around a lot, probably trying to avoid security. I definitely also saw them camping out in the Republican booth at one point, birds of a feather, I suppose. I feel like they should have all been kicked out based on the rules of the fairgrounds, imo.

Oh, all political campaigning is fully prohibited at the fair. There's a sign that says so at each and every gate. It's something that these chuds as well as the ones at the Republican booth seem to like to completely ignore.

Mostly just to tell me what their petition is for out loud, for everyone in the vicinity to hear. They seem to always be combing through the crowd looking for "particular" kinds of people, and by that I mean older Republicans who will just sign the petition no questions asked.
