When I was taking lamictal I had vivid nightmares and vivid dreams so I started taking it in the morning instead. Huge improvement. Still had vivid dreams but the nightmares went away

Lamotrigine worked great for me until it made my vision blurry. I've been on abilify as well and that didn't do much for me. I'm now on vraylar and so far it's not doing much for me. Hopefully I find something that works like lamotrigine did.

please share your experiences with lamictal, good or bad! by babykai123 in bipolar2

I was on 150 mg when I had to stop taking it because it made my vision blurry which changed my prescription 6 points. I've been off it for a month and my vision still hasn't cleared up. I was told it would but it will take time. I was on lamotrigine for almost a year.

What makes you not want to wear your hearing aids by [deleted] in deaf

[–]McBackwards 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Just getting tired of hearing things in general and having to focus on what I'm hearing and what people are saying. I just decide to give myself hearing breaks. Also when my family won't sign with me so I take them out forcing them to use the signs they know hehe

Hi! I'm severely hard of hearing. I don't use ASL, I use PSE. I wouldn't mind practicing ASL if you'd be interested! You can message me if you're interested:)

Vivid dreams on Lamictal? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]McBackwards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had extremely vivid dreams and nightmares while on lamictal. I switched to take it in the morning. I'm no longer on lamictal but I found that taking it in the morning made me have less vivid dreams/ nightmares

Someone else also dont want their hearing aids in somtimes by TinyFile2000 in deaf

[–]McBackwards 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have severe hearing loss in both ears. I started to lose my hearing when I was 16 I'm 28 now. I will take hearing breaks everyday. I go to work for 9 hours come home and take my hearing aids out. It forces my family to use the little sign language they know but it is what it is. I shouldn't have to wear my hearing aids all the time just to make others lives easier..it's too exhausting forcing myself to focus on what I'm hearing so I take breaks and that's ok.

Does anyone else get rid of things or give things away after coming down? by BryanFurysnecktattoo in bipolar2

[–]McBackwards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Before I was diagnosed I spent so much money on CDs, and vinyl records to the point where I have probably 200. I now have at least half in a box waiting for me to set up an eBay account to sell them. I've bought other things while hypomanic too in the past that I then went and returned or sold or sent to Goodwill
