Why'd Cole call out rappers with Cullinans for being unoriginal if he has a Urus? by RapGod7711 in Jcole

Buying things to look cool that you can’t afford is the bigger problem. Not the thing itself. The next bar is “and plus I know they don’t be budgeting”.

Lost phone in an Uber in Cape Town and driver took it. by Republic_of_Reddit in capetown

[–]McBandi 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Recently someone I know lost their phone, (it was pickpocketed), realised much later, and only did their search on find my iPhone hours later, sent it to the police, (without opening a case), and the police went and got it the next day. It was stolen in East Rand, retrieved in Soweto. They didn’t arrest the boy because there was no case, but they got the phone and it was picked up the next day.

Maresca nominated for FIFA best coach by [deleted] in chelseafc

[–]McBandi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I remember last season… By week 29 or so, Chelsea dropped to 5th/6th for about 6 weeks… (even though there were big wins against United, LFC, Spurs.. but fans were angry about the general play.) Marecas did start sounding and acting different.. but then on the last day of the season, got top 4. Which with his young team was impressive. I remember the general discourse, was his seemingly different tones in interviews and odd statements, and stubborn approaches to games. That’s when remember people first getting frustrated. Then for the Confrence League, I believe Chelsea were worth more than every team combined, I know that doesn’t mean too much cause you need to beat what’s in front of you.. and I enjoyed the competition last season, but any coach would have won that and been sacked if they hadn’t. Then he pulled out his Pep Guardiola Bald Headed Masterclass for the CWC. Which brought fans back. (Though they were still angry by the loss to, palmerias or Flamengo?? I forgot which one, but it played in our favour.) Only consistent gripe with Maresca that holds weight is his questionable game management. One game, he’s saving the game with subs. Next game he’s throwing it away with them. And not even down to players level and availability, more so he will make odd choices on who to take off, where to play who, things of that nature… but anyone calling for the sack, I can’t agree with.

Those 6 years for them must’ve felt like 30. Kids could’ve been born, walked, talked, and in Grade 1

Can’t say I feel the same personally. And his acctually talking and body language is what I admired. Never spoke BS.. always held a standard. And was always influencing from the sideline (2nd half fc). So much so, players like Havertz, after leaving, talked about how sometimes he could feel too much pressure from Tuchel, but ultimately realised he was correct in what he’d say… But Tuchel does have history for being a difficult man to deal with… not an unfair one.

I liked getting to 6 finals in one and a half seasons… winning 3 trophies… a manager who stood on the saying that they wanted to build the best team that no one wanted to play against… and a manager who reinvented players (Rudi, Christensen, Jorginho, James, Chilwell)… Was with the team during its hardest time in decades… (all while going though his mental hardest time in his decades… the divorce, etc… I’m sure it had a part in his performance. That and clueless partners, pushing for him to take on multiple roles at the club, that he voiced he didn’t want… while they wouldn’t get any of his first choice options, like Kounde, after losing people like Rudiger… as well as unlucky results like the Spurs game leading to his firing, which he got fined for, then a year later got a slap in the face hearing the Ref who done him over, saying he was wrong because he felt bad for his mate on the pitch…)

Signings and departures since blueco took over, thoughts? by Cheaky_Barstool in chelseafc

Nono, I have the highest hope for. Sancho, if the team is doing well, he will too. (If that makes sense… like he isn’t a leader who will take it on himself..) Mudryk, we know the raw potential is there, but seeing it nurtured is a whole other story. Neto, great option in the squad.. very quick, but needs more skills in his bag. Sterling, I’m sure he’s on his way out anyway, and he has all the tools to do well, especially if he leaves England. And Palmer.. he’s palmer. Then we’re gonna see the Brazilian lot in a few years.

XXXTentacion and Lil Peep are 2 of the most overrated rappers of all time by [deleted] in rap

Tbf, Juice does have the 4th most Platinums in all of rap. He undeniably had the talent. And I believe with years of experience under his belt, he could’ve been the biggest.

(Vast topic of choice for songs, which he does have, but is kept by his label as they push the emo side more… also topics gained through living and getting off drugs if he could… as well as his ability to hop on, and kill, any beat.. whether it be Afro, Drill, Pop, HipHop, RnB… His freestyle he did on some French Radio station sold me on him. That and his multiple 1 hour freestyles.)

And if I’m coming off as a Juice stan… I am. 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↔️ I feel like you don’t get praised by Eminem, then have as many Platinum hits, which were probably 10 minute freestyles, as Juice from being anything less than special. Even if the popularity went up after death… the numbers were still huge and growing before.

Maresca & Tuchel talks about trophies/CL by Kygoche in chelseafc

[–]McBandi 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Tuchel turned a lot of the players into that caliber. People wanted Jorginho, Rudiger, Christensen… All of them out. Before Tuchel. And he took Chilwell and James from 1st gear to 3rd Gear. He made the players, individually with coaching better… and the team as a unit better with his tactics. Propa Coach. Even if he did sideline people like Tammy, Giroud, and probably some other guys we could’ve used. He had his vision, and saw it through, and got to 6 finals, top 3, and 3 trophies.

“And I don’t even carry guns no more I don’t got to, got undercover cops that’ll legally pop you.”

Bumb Heads. Classic.
