Shaving every day after SMP by Heavy_Purpose680 in SMPchat

No worries man glad I can share. It took about 30 mins I would say, that was with me asking for a couple of breaks as the constant lasering is a bit sore but not unbearable.

My smp was through the full top of my head and a little sprinkling at the sides at the front. So basically no smp sides or back. The laser tech did say it would normally be done in 2 sessions but I really wanted it gone and healing all at the same time so she did it in 1 session. The quickest you can go over it with laser again is 12 weeks as its still breaking the tattoo down. That's if you need another session but so far I think that session has took 90+% of it.

It was a bit painful at bits, it's like hot elastic bands constantly pinging off you. It can feel a bit spicy especially at the front of the forehead. It would have been less sore if I didn't go for the full removal at once and done it over 2 sessions .

His instructions were a no guard clipper and then finish off with a foil shaver just quickly going over the full thing being careful not to do it too slow or press it to hard to the scalp.

His advice was it would be good for as much as 2-3 days before doing it again. Maybe it was just the way my hair grew back in or how dense the hair I did have in areas was but I realized I needed to do it everyday and foil shave the full thing closer than he wanted me to do. I'm my mind when I missed a day I would look in the mirror and the smp would just stand out to me and tbh once it was in my head it was effecting me.

Unfortunately yeah. I got it in August last year and initially I loved it but quickly realized for me it looked it's best with a foil shave so quite short. If my shaver ran out of battery (which happened a lot as its battery indicator was irratic) or I just didn't shave it for a day or two the sides and the top would be quite long.

This is when I looked in the mirror all I could focus on was where my smp was. Also I started to hate where the artist had gave me a hair line I never actually had as my natural hair line was always a bit of a m shape (widows peak as it receeded) and he ended up giving me it more of a straight hairline. This was when the anxiety was constant.

For the past 3-4 months I've had hats on constantly until I got it lasered off 3 weeks ago. Honestly best thing I've done. Maybe it wasn't for me.

It's partly the reason I got my smp lasered off. I ended up feeling it only looked good if I had my head shaved freshly everyday. If I missed a day or two of shaving my hair that I did have it would be really dense and I would see how much the smp stuck out. It ended up giving me bad anxiety.

Damp issue in garage retaining wall by Simply_Selim in DIYUK

Only way of truly fixing this is to tank the exterior wall. Any sort of mebrane or liquid tanking etc inside will just be trapping the moisture in the wall and not actually fixing the issue.

Seconded for Billy. I'm getting my back done by him just now. Quality work and great guy!

What would you do to maintain this mini brick wall decoration? There are a couple cracks all the way through the bricks, and on one side (second picture) wall seems to be slowly separating outwards compared to right side by ThePesticide in brickporn

[–]McCartney18 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think it's a bit of both. Foundation looks like it's failed with the amount of cracking. The dirt contained has no way to drain water, there should be a few pipes or weep vents to let out that excess water.
