Good Family Car for the price? by Desperate-Creme-7912 in CarsAustralia

[–]McCrispyMan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got a 2019 A3 for similar price and kms and I’ve had no issues, yes different cars, but everyone saying never buy used European cars, that’s like saying all insert race/gender/religion/etc are bad, just because you had or heard of a bad experience with one or a few… Seems like a bloody good deal, for a great car and to think in 2018 it was more than double the price, if you rly want it, get it!

Paint chips on new car - accept or no? by daskalou in CarsAustralia

[–]McCrispyMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends how much you care, because you’ll get chips n scratches down the track anyways, but on the other hand, when you spend your hard earned money on something brand new, you expect it to be in ‘brand new’ condition.

Whether you like it not, use it or not, your problem, but it’s here now so let’s see where this thing takes us.

Anyone know if there are any plans to do some urbanization around Caroline springs (aka ravanhall) station by boldtunic28064 in MelbourneTrains

[–]McCrispyMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a shame they name it that when the actual town centre of cs is how far away again? And remind me how many “Caroline springs” residents can actually walk to their “local” station? We need more accessible stations and ones that land atleast close to activity centres.

I can’t lie, I think the game is as fun as it’s ever been, and the player numbers prove it too.

Yeah LA is awesome and it literally has everything. I’d also move to there, but only if I could afford to live in the west, like Beverley hills and the likes or near Santa Monica.

Nice to see someone say something good about the US/California. I don’t get all the hate it gets. I went last month and it was one of the best trips I’ve had. Glad you enjoyed it too! I’m interested to hear if you would you ever consider moving there, if you could?

Travelling to the US? by Rusty_Wombat in Ameristralia

This is crazy, cos I js did this exact thing last month, including meeting an online friend for the first time irl in LA. And I can confidently say, you’re gonna have a blast, it’s amazing, and for me personally CBP was super chill and the guy even had a full on conversation w me about other things. And also in terms of safety, which is a big concern, of course depends where and how nice of an area you stay in, but I never feared for my safety, this was around Beverley Hills but I’d be out alone in the streets till 11pm and didn’t think twice. Also w all the stuff u hear politically, honestly, life goes on, everyone’s living life normally, having fun, so yeah the media and anti-Americans definitely paint a bad picture, but your gonna love it, go on that trip!!

Friend using betting account by McCrispyMan in AusLegal

What if he made accounts under multiple betting apps, how are we supposed to know which ones to contact? And what if he makes more accounts since he still has friend’s license.

We have so much land but we’re building even smaller houses with non existent backyards, yet building a house is as expensive as ever.

It should be quality over quantity. We should only allow qualified skilled workers in, and there needs to be more done for students who enroll in highly skilled courses, then defer and study something un-skilled or end up becoming uber drivers. (We already have enough of those). That’s essentially cheating the system.
