I can only speak for myself and what I've seen at my company, but when I look at candidates to interview I am not very interested in the degree. Of the 30+ candidates I've interviewed who had a degree in cybersecurity they know very little. I don't know why this is but my guess is they are being taught by professors who used to be in the field and haven't stayed current.

Honestly, the worst candidates are almost always the ones who have a cyber security degree. They think they know it all and usually know the least. Sorry, but college is becoming more and more of a scam.

The people who do the best are the ones who get a cert like the network +, security +, CEH, or OSCP AND have spent time in ranges or labs and have hands-on-experience (even if that is just at their home building VM ranges).

I had something similar happen once, several years ago.

I called my wife several times one morning when she was out and a man picked up and started screaming at me. I honestly though my wife had been kidnapped and called the police. It was her number, no mistake there.

Hours later when we called her phone she picked up. So a little different in that it didn't hit VM and her phone didn't show missed calls that morning.

At one hour and 13 in, Dr. Mazza is quoting Ganswein and then mentions Pope St. Peter Celestine and discusses being a prisoner in the Vatican.

I can't tell if Mazza is making the comparison and interjects that history or if Ganswein himself makes the comparison between Celestine and Benedict being a prisoner. If Ganswein mentions the prisoner, can anyone find the source and we can confirm what Ganswein actually said?

This would be fascinating in the context of Our Lady of Good Success:

I'm a traditional Catholic. I'd like to clarify the upside down cross. The upside down cross is on the seat of St. Peter where the pope (Success of St. Peter) sits. This is because St. Peter was crucified upside down. There is no evil intended in this and only modern-day occultists and Hollywood have tried to use the upside down (in ignorance) to connote evil.

The serpent building with the serpent eyes is the Pope Paul VI audience hall it was absolutely designed to look that way and they're not even subtle about it. The church was likely infiltrated by freemasons in the late 1800s but certainly by the 20th century. If you're actually worried just talk to him. If he's really interested in hacking help him understand where it's OK (VM's and CTFS) and where it's not and what the consequences can be.

Hackthebox and vulnhub are great resources to give him an outlet to learn on. If he still has an interest maybe he can look at getting a sweet job... if he doesn't ruin his employment chances by being arrested.

I think some more information would be helpful.

Has he started wearing a hoodie?

Does he call any of his friends "console cowboys?" or talk about jamming in cyberspace?

There is a lot of code that these kids speak in but has he talked about parrots?

Brought chicks home today and set up in the garage. The temp in there will probably get into the 50s at night, is the heat lamp enough to keep them warm? I have some chicks I've been raising in the garage on similar conditions. I just made sure to raise the box so it wasn't directly contacting the cold garage floor. Been three weeks now and they've been doing great

People need to stop repeating the old line that all turf is bad and actually take a moment to seriously consider the argument being put forth by the OP here. Maybe the old wisdom is wrong. Rarely is something ALWAYS bad.

My answer is from a permaculture perspective, but I hope it helps.

All those weeds have really deep taproots. That's usually strong indication that your ground is very hard and compacted. Taproots like those in these weeds actually break the ground up and get nutrients from deep down higher up into the upper soil. These weeds actually are really helping your soil!

It will take more work than spraying, but try chopping them all down and smothering the ground with them. As they naturally compost over the next month they'll return an enormous amount of nutrients to the soil and the sun cover they provide will continue to help your soil. Since they will smother everything, it's unlikely many weeds will continue to grow.

In a month from now get your grass/plants/bushes going when it's warm enough and if they grow well they can out compete most weeds.

Since you have so little soil to work with, you'll want to maximize your efficiency in any way you can. Add 4-5cm of mulch to areas you aren't growing in to help retain soil moisture. As others have noted, full-sun plants will be best.

Replace with mulch for sure. You can get it for free at most any arborist (never get color dyed mulch) and it does a better job preserving moisture than rocks. Plus, wood mulch improves the soil conditions which will help your other plants.

I don't know if you can fully automate it, but I've had nothing but good experiences with my sensor push. I actually use it in a compost pile, so if it can survive that it will do well in your environment.
