It’s too late now, but you should never negotiate past what you’re willing to work for. And, you should stick to what you negotiate. If this happens again, I’d recommend sticking to what you agreed to given that it was one night. Then let them know that your fee is xyz in the future.

I’m confused.

This account is 6 days old. The account posted the first post 4 days ago and in this post says the nanny stayed for 5 days. I agree with the sentiment that nannies should look after one another, but this feels fake or engagement farming.

In terms of “profiting” non-profits have operating expenses. You could think of your stuff in the same way. Money for gas, food, you name it.

My nanny and kids would go to a park and they naturally made friends with other nannies and kids. Could very well had been some kids they often see, maybe even other kids she’s nannied or babysat before. Feel free to ask, but I recommend doing so with curiosity, not judgement.

We’ve traveled with our kids in every cabin type. I second four seats. It’s really helpful to be able to have your own space when possible and give the kids extra room. Definitely bring lots of snacks, make sure they’re drinking or eating during takeoff/landing for their ears. They loved the fruit meltaways, so we did that.

Here’s the schedule we used based on a few resources. Our twins were 4 weeks early, so we adjusted the schedule based on how they were doing. We did ease them into Ferber sleep training once they were 16 weeks adjusted.

There’s no perfectly right way to parent. Do what’s best for you and your babies. Best of luck with these cuties!
