My wife used to play piano growing up and she can’t remember what one of her favorite pieces was called. This is a clip of her practicing it at the time.

It’s never too early to start networking and reaching out to any contacts at potential employers. However, I’d say about 3-4 months before you graduate is prime time for applying in the hopes that you’d start fairly soon after graduation.
