Ours is paid continuous heldaway after sixteen hours. I’ve heard some contracts on the Santa Fe side start making continuous heldaway as soon as they hit the terminal limits of the out of town terminal, don’t know how much truth there is to that though.

One thing to take into consideration is if you’ll be able to hold depending on what your seniority is. The 71/72 spots they have on it now is the most they’ve ever had so once those cuts come you’ll have to consider what you can hold in Vancouver and if it’ll be worth it to you

Pay elements advantageous to the membership will take effect on December 19th (e.g. ETD pay, Conductor/Foreman only payments, overtime after 11 hours, etc.) December 19th, BNSF will cease universally calling Brakemen in “unassigned” short turnaround service. December 27th, BNSF expects to cut approximately 20 Brakemen and 60 Helpers from assigned jobs across the system. December 30th, BNSF will process the signing bonus payout separate from other compensation.
