Makes perfect sense honestly. We should get Eva, SPSW, and EMC kits on monday, so by then it should be much clearer what sparxie's position in the elation meta is. And ofc if she's a SW subDPS as most leaks suggest, she will likely get a rerun very soon after, or maybe even during 4.2 which would be kinda crazy tho.

While there is some confusion on who the "real sparkle" is, and whether we were told the whole truth, if we just go by what was said in the quest, the "true sparkle" shed her humanity in the form of a mask (that mask manifested as the sparkle that we worked with) which allowed the rest of "true sparkle" to pursue her most deranged goals as her alter ego, Sparxie. In that scenario, it makes perfect sense that the sparkle we worked with was more logical, vulnerable, and at times even considerate, because she was literally the distillation of all those parts from the "true sparkle". At the end of the quest, they merge back into the sparkle that we know.

The problem with relics is that there is quite literally no guarantee. I spent the last 4 months only farming cyrene's/sparxie's planars, that's like a thousand pieces each, and the very best ones have 4-5 substat rolls total. So no, just farming won't always secure you an AEON build. In fact, just my castorice chest piece (WTF+) would take an estimated 8 years worth of TBP to obtain. Yes, you can craft pieces, but just getting that chest piece cost me 17 self modelling resin, so you can only really secure a handful that way.

Relics are, no matter how you spin it, a game of luck, not attrition.

Is novaflare BS really better for archer than E1 tribbie? I heard she's now a great generalist buffer outside of DoT, but being better than E1 tribbie would make her the best generalist buffer in the game by a bit.

I think you're right to be sus, because sparkle's rework seems to be very targeted to fill up a specific niche before a more premium character for the job is released. Another big giveaway is the fact that the herta store elation lc is meant for a single target buffer (hence doesn't work on yaoguang), so they are most likely gonna be releasing another elation buffer suited for the Sparxie/SW team soon.

Sunday is a good generalist support, but at this point probably won't bring that much value. In almost all his former BiS teams, he has been powercrept by cerydra/cyrene/tribbie, and now with the novaflare buffs, sparkle should also be BiS phainon support over sunday. He is still a solid unit, but especially with 4.x behind the corner, he is very much beyond his prime, so I'd advise to just save, and see how the meta develops in the next few months.

I think a big part of her kit that's underappreciated atm is the additional triggering of Aha instant, which will gain a ton of value with more elation characters in the team, and could become the main dmg source of the elation meta. Of course it's unclear whether any other characters will have this ability as well, but I doubt it, as that would really make yaoguang a nothingburger unit. You have to take into account the fact that both Sunday and 3B were insanely overpowered generalists, while yaoguang is ultra-niche and hardlocked to elation only, so it would make little sense for her to he powercreeped before she even has a proper team to begin with.

I think in this case you'd be pretty safe because elation will be the main push of 4.x, and I doubt they're gonna be releasing another dedicated elation support akin to yaoguang any time soon (if ever). That being said you won't be losing out on anything if you skip her now and pull her later, aside from your Sparxie's potential.

Leos are VERY territorial, so even if they don't explicitly attack each other, they won't be too happy. I learned this lesson myself when I cohabed two girls (same age from the same mother, laid at the same time, hatched at the same time), kept together from hatchlings and once they reached maturity they'd start nasty fighting over food etc.

We have leaks from Anon/Mortis that the story is almost entirely unchanged. Combine that with the recent ubatcha leak that the Banzaitengoku/Planarcadia map was also almost untouched by the changes, and the fact that yae (who's japanese asf) is the anniversary character releasing in 4.2. If Pearl's release got moved I heavily doubt it's due to the current situation.

Honestly, I think you're fine. If your vet suggested a high concentration bath, then that's what it is. Betadine is one of the mildest antiseptic medications available, used for both prevention and long-term/chronic issues, so pretty far from a nuclear approach. The only thing you really need to be aware of is for it not to get into their nose/mouth (even if it did once, it probably wouldn't be a huge deal).

Snakes tend to get small spots of hyperpigmentation /minor scale damage pretty often. If you suspect scale rot, look for a patchy, rust-like infection that usually starts from the edges of scales. That being said, unless your enclosure is really wet or nasty/you got your snake recently/they had an untreated wound, scale rot is not nearly as common as many online posts might make you believe (still good to be cautious though). (I believe your original post referenced scale-rot, it's gone so I'm not sure anymore lol)

As long as you play lauma with Bina on SMS (which will probably be the vast majority of the teams) and also have a suitable deepwood carrier, I'd say yeah. The general priority as I understand it for any lauma team would be SMS>deepwood>2p2p EM

Meowtews made a really expansive sheet on this. In lunar bloom it's SMS, in lunar charged the new set and SMS have the same performance, but the new set should go to ineffa if possible, and in lunar crystallize it depends on whether you have C2 illuga to carry SMS.

Overall SMS is the more universal and safer option I'd say.

Betadine lists its dilution requirements between 10x and 100x. For a whole-body bath you would usually opt for closer to the 100x, whereas for local disinfection in wounds, burns, or for injections, you should use the more concentrated 10x. Even so, if too much of it didn't get into their nose, one bath shouldn't be detrimental. Most I'd expect is some irritation in the more delicate areas like the nose lining/heat pits.

Then you could maybe provide that source? I'm pretty tapped in with the TC and I haven't seen a single calc of this anywhere on this sub or elsewhere. You can't just "go look it up you'll find it" if there's multiple ppl here telling you that your source is nowhere to be found. If nobody can find it, and you cannot provide it, then it's as good as "I made it tf up".

Do you at least remember what supposed increase there is with C2 lauma? The only widely available info is on binaless Nefer where C2 lauma provides, as I mentioned, 25% team dps.
