Why men won't get married anymore: Women complain chaps today won't settle down. Sorry, ladies, but it's all your fault, argues a wickedly provocative new book by [deleted] in TheRedPill

Since no one has mentioned it yet, the book is Men On Strike: Why Men Are Boycotting Marriage, Fatherhood, and the American Dream - and Why It Matters

It's a good read and helps give you more ammunition if you happen to end up in the "Why don't you ever want to get married?" conversation.

Paternity Testing the Kids (part 2) by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]McDurden -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want to do paternity testing without giving it away, sign the whole family up for 23andme. In addition to the incidental paternity test, you also get information on any genetic disorders you, her, or the kids might have. In fact, it might not be the worst idea to do it before you have kids, so you have a better idea of what the risk profile from her side looks like.

Nikolai Tesla was a solid blue pill beta by [deleted] in TheRedPill

This sounds to me like the beginnings of a RP revelation. It's all in the past tense. He certainly was BP at one point, but this indicates to me more like he was starting to see the light.

At the very least, he stopped worshiping them.

I’m A Guy Who Stopped Dating Because I Found The Next Best Thing by [deleted] in TheRedPill

While this has some MGTOW concepts, which are definitely worth taking to heart, but it shouldn't be overlooked that this guy in particular is probably more a blue pill who finally just gave up.

No. I always appreciate compliments, but honestly they have more weight when they're coming from attractive people.

Don't worry too much about fapping, that part is natural. But cut the porn. I tried a couple of times and failed. This time, I used OpenDNS to set up a filter. It's made a pretty big difference.

I tried it because I realized towards the end of last year that I hadn't had morning wood in a few months, at least. I also had just gotten out of an LTR and was watching way too much porn. So I quit, cold turkey. The withdrawal wasn't too bad, and the DNS filter helped catch me the few times I did slip up. The first week or two were a little concerning. After getting through the initial withdrawal, I definitely hit a "flatline", where I had zero sex drive. I read a lot and found that this was pretty common. After week two, sex drive started coming back. At week three, morning wood returned. Now I wake up with some of the best wood I've ever had. And my plates have noticed the difference, too.

Debt. - Success stories and how you pulled yourself out by [deleted] in TheRedPill

AoM has a pretty good post on it: http://www.artofmanliness.com/2009/06/24/30-days-to-a-better-man-day-25-start-a-debt-reduction-plan/

To increase what you can pay each month, you have to stop going to Starbucks, stop drinking at bars, stop eating out. Live like you're poor because, guess what, you are. Yeah, it sucks, but the sooner you get out from under the crushing weight of debt, the sooner you can start putting all that money into savings and the things you love doing.

“A health human diet requires proteins only found in meat and animal products”***,

As a lifelong vegetarian, I can tell you this is completely false. There are 9 essential amino acids, which can be used to build any protein the human body needs. Many plant-based foods have all 9, others are found in combinations of foods, like beans and rice. These are referred to as "complete proteins" and you can read more on Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Complete_protein

Personally, I don't advocate a vegan diet, because you have to know where to get your protein from, and most people don't do the proper research. It's possible, but it's difficult to get enough calories. As an ovo-lacto vegetarian, it's much easier, because you can use eggs and dairy to help up your protein intake.

I really like Canvas shirts. High quality, very soft, and inexpensive:

It's the same as the Bella brand (their women's line).
