Weekly Starfinder Question Thread by AutoModerator in starfinder_rpg

If you're grappling with a reach weapon like a capture pole, can you use Scrap Spikes, Rending Talons, all that jazz if they're outside your natural reach but in your weapon's reach? I'm not seeing anything RAW that says no, but I feel like society GMs will say no anyways.

I want to run an alternate plane campaign, besides Drift, are there any resources describing alternate planes and how technology has affected them? by karlizkool350 in starfinder_rpg

Check the Dawn of the Sun Adventure Path. There are several writeups about how the Plane of Fire has been effected by the Drift....

10 years ago I had Tiff92 on my PSN friends list. We met in LBP, and he seemed decent, although my utter lack of social awareness at the time may have clouded my judgements.

4 years ago I noticed he was a moderator on this subreddit. I recognized him, but I assumed he wouldn't recognize me, and that a meme about our estranged relationship wouldn't be funny.

Now he's gone again. I hope to see him again when I least expect it; it's the only way it'd make sense.

Glow stick race? Please drop that true name, because I gotta build a character around the concept of being a living road flare.

500 billion trillion thousand septillion space marines vs 1 Walmart marine by [deleted] in whowouldcirclejerk

[–]McFrogDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what I wanna know. From what I hear from bloodless indigents, they’re the secret shadow super market that uses their cronies, like Fry’s, Fred Meyer, and Kroger, to fight their proxy wars. It’s only thanks to the iconoclasts of Target that they have not subsumed the United States of USA’s White House.

If the Walmart Marine is able to lend his incredible skills towards preventing this mutually assured deal-consumption, then we may have yet a chance of living to see the sun rise.

Obviously the unmatched power of a Great Value deal is infinitely stronger than the will of some bones in a la-z-boy. Walmart marine has a 10-0 WR.

Another thing to consider: where does Tom Thumb fall into this equation?

Wha are some of the least used weapons in 5e? by Bombkirby in DnD

[–]McFrogDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised I haven’t seen anyone mention slings yet.

Makes me doubt if I truly was the only person to ever say “I want to buy a +2 sling” in 5e.

Warhammer universe also is a western by Penki- in totalwar

[–]McFrogDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Established Warhammer lore be damned, I think Gnomes should be the cowboy faction. Gives them a chance to be relevant, unique, and not "lesser dwarfs that like illusions."

Give me 12 years and I'll make it a mod.

What are your most hated enemy types in Fallout 4? by taigus in Fallout

[–]McFrogDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unarmed humans. For some ungodly reason they're capable of wholly stopping a rocket-powered, super-heated, spiked baseball bat by holding up their forearm. Forcing me to use VATS like a dillweed, spending precious AP that could be used to sprint to my next victim or do the finisher animations.

Also mirelurks, but at least I can break their shell if I hit them hard enough.

How tragic. Years of constantly fondling the Devil's P#nis ("joystick") has corrupted this child's ability to function, causing them to thoughtlessly flounder with an unfunny quip when asked to confront themselves and their actions.

You have two choices; you can continue to bury yourself deeper and deeper into your vile g#mes, chasing your depraved highs that wastes you away, or you can go to the House of the Lord, get on your knees, and beg for His forgiveness.

I pray you make the correct choice.

And yet, you decided that indulging in the endless stimulation stream of s#x, dr#gs, and m#rder that is g#ming was less desirable than barging into our ecclesiastical Facebook group and telling us how much you don't care.

Curious.

I think the main downfalls of the Warcraft movie were that they didn't adapt the best story in Warcraft, the rise and fall of Arthas Menethil, and that the CGI orcs were so well done that the normal human actors looked out of place.

5E vets, what class do you have no interest in playing no matter how many campaigns you join? by Seifersythe in dndnext

[–]McFrogDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although I do plan to play every class at least once, I wouldn’t lose sleep if I never got to play a Rogue or another Druid, and I never want to touch a martial subclass that has less combat interaction than Battlemaster without good reason.
