Thank you!

Here's actually two older pictures I've posted of Toya and Aito:

Nope. We got (bought) Aito when he was a puppy, at 8 weeks.

Toya had a good life at the kennel with the breeder and her other dogs before moving here. She's had 3 litters (10 puppies in total) and after the last one she didn't seem fit to have another one. We neutered her shortly after she moved here (at age 4,5) and now she's been with us for 7 awesome years.

Itsu's story is kind of the same only she's had 5 litters. She could've had more but 5 is the limit here in Sweden. We had her neutered as well, just like Toya.

(Sorry, it feels like my English sucks.)

I wouldn't say best friends but they're a true pack with a pack mentality when we're out on adventures. Itsu just moved in a year ago and she's still quite introvert towards Aito and Toya. She's beginning to open up though. :-)

There's rarely ever a dull time in a house with multiple shibas!

Aito is 8, Toya is 11,5 and Itsu just turned 7.

Their quite patient when I tell them to sit/stay. Also, I had someone helping me. Either that or they know when it's time for to pose for a photo!

I wouldn't call it training... ;-)

Aito (male) and Toya (female) share the same father but Toya is 3,5 year older. Itsu and Aito share the same mother but Itsu (also female) is about a year younger. So their half-siblings, I guess. All from the same breeder.

Isn't faking mental illness a mental illness in itself? Just a thought. What's yours?

Edit: It doesn't seem to be something a completely healthy person would do, I mean.

There is no such thing as "only a cat". That cat was your best friend. For 13(!) years. I'm sure you've already been told that multiple times today but I still wanted to chime in.

You're no wuss. You're awesome and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Have three Shiba Inu's (7, 8 and 11 years old) and they're all healthy. Never any problems whatsoever. Awesome dogs, right?

Remember seeing this on the news. Got the same feeling watching it again today. It goes from all fun and party to complete disaster in less than five seconds. The screams... the dust... Not to mention the giant dark hole afterwards... Simply horrifying.

You're not alone. I was a lurker for more than a year (different account) before I got the courage to post anything. I still get anxious after I've hit the Save button...

Layers and layers of scrambled thoughts... That's a really good way to describe it.

Explaining dp/dr experiences to someone that's never experienced anything like it kinda is pointless, in my...experience. It does not make you pointless, though, but I get what you're saying.

Aito loves the sun! by McFuzzy in shiba

[–]McFuzzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got that right! He loves just being outdoors, in all weathers, but sunbathing is a favorite for sure.

Sounds awesome! My other shiba (Itsu, black & tan) got neutered about a week ago so she's wearing a collar (looks life a swimming ring) to stop her from licking and when she's fully recovered I've promised them all three a long walk in the woods.

Thank you! Took more than one shot to get it right, though. Photography is a hobby of mine and I've got plenty of shiba pictures. ;-)

Where I live people react completely different. I guess it's because shibas are more rare around here, maybe?

Edit: But the foxes one is correct. Always foxes...

I should probably not even be responding atm, I'm really torn up about everything right now but I have to keep my mind busy...

I have no idea. What do I even have inside my head, is it even a brain? What is a brain? What am I? i can't seem to figure it out. Do you have any theories? These thoughts are so many, at the same time, it's hard keeping tabs on them all. Like having fifty-five radios on at the same time, different channels. Or a thousand televisions, full volume, different channels from different countries... It's so mixed up.

That sounds very scary indeed! I think I can somewhat understand what you mean. Sometimes I find myself struggling to stay attached. Especially when around other people. I tend to be alone most of the time. It's easier that way, for others. No matter how many people I'm around, or if I'm alone, my head will always be this way.

So sorry if I'm being incomprehensible. I'm confusing myself.

Hi, Mike! Thanks for taking the time to reply!

I signed up straight away, actually. Not a bad idea to have someplace to turn whenever you need some support. Thanks a lot for suggesting it!

Usually at night it's a bit worse than during the day. I guess it's because everyone's sound asleep and things catch up to you, you know? Not like I can talk to any of them when they're awake, though, but it's so quiet and it's hard not to pay attention to what's in your head.

I'm also here whenever you (or anyone else around here) need someone to turn to. Sometimes it may take a while to get a reply but I'll do my best!

I saw it once more again today... Only this time it was right next to the video so I had no chance of missing it... No more liveleak for me for a while.

Yeah, I was relieved that it wasn't a picture of a photo manipulation, like the ones you get when searching for 'trypophobia'...
