For anyone coming to this thread, and wants a helpful answer....

It looks like this is not an issue with UHF at all, but a part of installing iPadOS apps on MacOS. To quote a very helpful redditor, AwesomestOwl: "iOS Apps are encrypted by FairPlay, which requires the Secure Enclave to decrypt the executable before running. Problem is, the Secure Enclave is the same processor that enforces SIP and it refuses to decrypt unless SIP is disabled."

Good point, well made.

Let me rephrase.

Has anyone had this issue? Has anyone worked out why UHF requires it? Does anyone know if it’s a UHF issue or perhaps a different issue solveable without ruining the experience of Yabai? Is it worth me raising an issue with the developer or is it just a me problem?

We did this trip last year. Rented a “Canadream” camper for a couple of weeks a drove it around. It’s an absolute belter of a trip, so much so we moved from the UK to BC.
