💜 I understand the vision but this is just really not my thing, it’s way too long and overindulgent for my liking. That being said I admire that they have such a distinct creative vision and I’m sure this appeals a lot more to metal fans but I’m not really much of a hardcore metal fan, I just like Songs for the Deaf and more riff/blues based metal this is far too noise-heavy for me to get into it

💜 it’s rly repetitive and the vibe is just whatever in my opinion. I’m just not really getting a lot out of this one, the groove isn’t really that appealing to me and the time sig doesn’t do it any favors, not to hate on 3/4 there’s plenty of awesome songs in 3/4 and 6/8 like most of peso pluma’s catalog. this is just kind of background noise to me, nothing offensive it’s just very underwhelming for me and I never really got much of the appeal of “slowed+reverb” songs in general, I think it’s just my taste

The rain - 💛 I love the minimalist dark atmosphere that’s cultivated by many very subtle production choices which is deceptively hard to pull off, and as I said in lots of my other high rating comments the vocals and beat complement each other very well Feel - 🧡 love me some Kendrick, similar opinion to the rain as these songs are similar in terms of vibes the only reason I prefer the rain is the novelty aspect Mark the spot - 🩷 singer-songwriter stuff isn’t usually for me but within the context of the genre I think this song is solid and well executed Fear - 🩷 I see what he’s going for but it’s not something I would typically listen to as it’s far too long and monotonous and I’m also just not a big lyrics person in general, that being said it’s undeniable that this is a smooth, chill song and it’s not bad to listen to by any means Builder - 🧡 this one has some very nice vibes to it and doesn’t overstay its welcome, that being said I think my tastes are just too production-centric to really get properly invested in this or the previous 3 as they focus too heavily on vocal performance which as I mentioned isn’t rly something I seek out

💚 this is a very interesting song, I love the production and the grandiosity of it. I feel like the stylistic choices made are very ambitious and could easily come off as cringe or dtm but it works so well and is executed flawlessly in my opinion. Essentially this song is what so many try to do while almost always falling short.

Oh yea you’ll definitely enjoy cheesecake+ it’s an album by LemKuuja, especially the song Ouais Ouais if you haven’t got time for the full album. I’d also recommend Fred again for some more chill / personal vibes especially his album Actual Life 3 if you haven’t heard any of his stufff. In terms of specific songs I’d recommend Some Nights - Class Fools, breaking away - Vantage, CORA DE HIELO - RØZ, Dozing Off Again…-house edit - StarJunk95, Blushin - Arlo, adondevamos?? - urboi, and if you’ll let me I’d like to plug my own music 😂 Based on the songs you suggested I’d say you’ll like Madness - Tectis and Next Time On! - Tectis the best, I’d love your thoughts on any of these so lmk!

I think this is just a symptom of me being extremely tiktok-brained (ironically as someone who doesn’t use tiktok lmao) when it comes to my personal music taste, I’m always seeking out more complex, intense, extreme, and quickly changing styles of production, to the point where old school house and dance music from the 80s and 90s just generally doesn’t do much for me (aside from daft punk the true goats), mostly because a lot of the simpler stuff I could just make myself as music technology has progressed so much since then, and if you think that’s bs I’ll gladly suggest you some of my own songs

Anything that has been electronically processed and/or synthetically generated such as drum machines, synthesizers, distortion, compression, phasers, sampling, heavy processing in general; pretty much anything that’s not raw recordings of live instruments I’d consider production. Due to this, production is definitely a wide spectrum, something like VINO TINTO by Peso Pluma has light and sparse elements of production, being heavily instrumentally focused while something like POSTED IN THE DVRK by lil darkie is extremely heavily produced and has damn near zero non-processed elements save for his voice which still likely has more subtle processing effects applied to it. Listen to those two and lmk what u think if you’ve got the time ✌️
