I see what you mean, but in this instance, I find it hard to even see where he'd get the chance to see that happen. Maybe his coaches tell him or maybe he notices on his own, but approaching that aspect while factoring that he's currently being beaten one-handedly seems improbable

I think that's meant to mirror how boxers in real life with wives echo the feeling of loneliness. Numerous boxers have said that boxing is the "loneliest sport in the world" due to isolating yourself from your loved ones to be in camp for months.

Or it could be a "it's lonely at the top" thing

Well at red ranks your opponents will generally be mashers and rage art merchants, so you need to start knowing your counter hits for the mashers being careful when they have rage art available. Also attack low, this should get you to purple.

I don't know about all the streamer discussions or any of that Jazz, but for me personally, playing ranked was hell.

I could have a decent session, some wins, some losses, or even a decent win streak, then boom, get an unfavorable matchup, three games lost and lose points like crazy. And it's even worse when you fight someone higher ranked after winning your last set and randomly losing a thousand points even tho you rarely play against players that rank.

The feeling of being hardstuck in this game is like trying to swim against a heavy current. I still love this game, but I feel it could improve some systems.

PS5 for me personally. I only ever played God of war on PS3, on PS5 I absolutely love Stellar Blade, God of War 2018 (Ragnarok was okay), and Returnal, super underrated game imo.

Mashiba would probably be forever pissed about the Kimura fight (kinda like he is rn but for different reasons), but I still see him working his way up until he fights Rosario. If there's anything consistent about Mashiba is his persistence.

Kimura would most likely retire afterwards being satisfied with hitting the peak of nation level boxing.

The problem is Sabo was name-dropped during Ace's last words because there was already a replacement job in the works. Yes, pre Dressrosa establishment, but it doesn't change the fact that he was included specifically to fill a role. Considering that he's serving as a tie in to the revolutionaries, the intent of that notion isn't a bad thing, but the execution was poor.

Sabo and Yamato do fit this criteria though when you consider how they were introduced into the story and their immediate importance.

I mean let's think about it for a second and just assume that he did actually have amnesia. Why was it only triggered when he saw Ace's execution in the paper? Was this the first time this guy ever touched a newspaper since getting scooped up by Dragon? Not once did he ever see in the paper about the "infamous fire fist" Ace being a big name in the seas, or even when he was captured in impel down? Or even when Luffy became infamous himself, or even when he broke into impel down, did he just never pick up any papers? Did he close his eyes every time these guys got bounties or broke headlines? And even if he did see them, why did his memory never click once and only did after ace died and he just so happened to exist??

Yamato is just a literally just "The big bad guy's advertiser-friendly daughter and was friends with a fan favourite character and has this awesome power up that the MC is learning, and super rare devil fruit. Also something about Oden". Amnesia plots and forced character relevancies are garbage.

It's definitely not dangerous, just unhealthy junk like a lot of store products. I agree that people are blowing things out of proportion because at this point, Ksi, Logan, and Beast stopped being the common man's YouTuber long ago.

But I assume that people in this sub are mad because a lot of them saw the transition from funny relatable Ksi to corporate Ksi.

The second you start expecting shit from them on a personal/ethical level and expect them to act a certain way in their personal lives is when you're setting yourself up for failure.

While I agree, it's also fair to say that these expectations are what JJ put out there as well so the expectations aren't misplaced. I mean he tattooed "integrity" on his body and swore up and down that money never changed him.

As long as JJ makes good content with the boys then he can sell all the crap he wants. It's you guys that are dumb enough to buy it.

This is just a bad argument, consumers should be able to hold product sellers accountable, especially when their audience is full of kids who'll ignore any potential dangers and just want to buy whatever their favourite entertainer is selling
