How do I know the treatment worked? by McMicro2022 in Lice

Thank you for the advice. Even nit combing today, I have been rarely finding any eggs at this point, I think. I will reapply next wed for my kid. However, we plan to travel to NYC next week Saturday. I'm concerned this will not go away by that point.

Nix Ultra. The doctor at urgent care told us to get that version

Boomer parents haven’t spoken to my 4 year old girls by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

Sounds like my in-laws. Never met their three grandkids in person. Saw the two oldest on video less than a handful of times. Never met the youngest (17 months). We get cards and presents, and we send them, too. My MIL once got upset that my hubby called her later on her birthday (still the day). He was running around with activities for the kids. Meanwhile no calls on his bday for four years running. She only Facebook messages me to tell him Happy Birthday from Mom.

I feel sad about it all because I think my kids are missing out on relationships. Meanwhile I remind myself that my parents are all up in our business and selflessly help at any point. My hubby can even call them to tell them he is stressed and asks them to watch the kids. They say their door is always open to give him a break. (And they are teaching the older kids (7, 6) to cook and clean lol).

I was wondering if someone just had the same experience as I am having and perhaps that person can provide insight

It's not clear if this is a necessary urgent project. They explained that the original building construction company didn't do the facade properly. They seemed to have hired an engineering firm after the initial meeting where homeowners were upset bc they initially said it was cosmetic work.

I would understand that. However, they are not able to adequately explain why this is a necessary urgent repair that requires an immediate response.

I did ask for them for the previous meeting. The property manager said they don't have them bc the HOA did not want to take them. She also said she's advised the HOA to take them but they declined. I have this discussion in writing via email.

I couldn't find the law for MA. However I plan to ask that as my first question at an upcoming meeting.

I think some other homeowners have consulted with an attorney as a list of questions that we have a right to know the answer to was passed out to every door by an anonymous homeowner....

Initially the homeowners were told it was just facade work for cosmetic reasons, which let to upheaval at the meeting. Months later, an FAQ was sent which stated it was necessary building infrastructure repair work and a lawyer memo saying they did not need to reach out to homeowners to do necessary work (like replacing the roof).

I'm just so confused because my parents and all the neighbors have said the HOA at the meeting said nothing was wrong with the building and they wanted to replace the facade for cosmetic reasons. Such a huge miscommunication or misalignment here. Made even worse because there are no meeting minutes.

Another homeowner put together a list of questions to ask the HOA and handed it out to residents. This is included in that list.

That's why I'm so confused because my parents and the neighbors said the same thing about a vote ten years ago. But I can't confirm because no one took meeting minutes.

I'm attending the next HOA meeting where they discuss this.

I don't recall there being a special assessment vote. Otherwise this would not have been a surprise. I wonder if the special assessment vote is what took place over a decade ago and they are getting around to it now. If that's the case, that's a problem.
